Choose dual-lens masks over single-lens masks for safety. Low-volume masks are preferred for less drag as well as less chances of being knocked-off by other players. Purchase locally from dive shops.
Choose simple J-shape snorkels over those with purge valves for less drag and to avoid snagging on other players. Cut-off excess length at the tip of the snorkel (portion above the top of your head) to further minimize drag and avoid snagging on other players. Purchase locally from dive shops.
