8/4/02: S*A*R* welcomes OK JUNCTION to the label. these special rappers are talented folk, opening themselves to you through rhyme. the boys make the rap a comedy, not mocking it, but only expressing themselves. they're recording an album right now. Tyler is almost finished recording a demo which will be sent out to record companies and college radio stations. the band has a totally new and inventive sound, hopefully it's to your liking.
6/5/02:Well, alot has been happening lately. had some shows, got some samplers out. Tyler. has decided to re-record their new album. They want to add some new tracks and take off some bad ones. recording starts in june. Drop Box broke apart, the bassist and drummer joining Tyler., leaving the guitarist lonesome. BUT, on a higher note, RASTA LA VISTA is still here! the boys have been practicing their singing and tuning up their guitars for more acoustic reggae perfromances. Tyler. sampler is $2. been makin pretty good sales on them. well, we've lost some folks and we've gained some. stay tuned for shows, i know they aren't updated much, but we promise we'll start. love peace chicken grease.
4/13/02: Tyler. finished their new album today, it sounds great! 8 bucks, will be out in a few days to a few weeks. Tyler. will be doing many shows within the next 3 or 4 months. check in now and again for updates. 4/02/02: Disordered Intellect just finished their CD, the self titled EP. Make sure to buy one or we'll sick Lucky on you!!!!! Check here for more info! 4/01/02: ATTENTION ALL SAR FANS! Dropbox is changing their name. Don't worry, they still have the Your Mom Song, but some weird guys already have their band called DropBox. SO...they need your help! GO HERE 3/19/02: Desolate Theory? took the ? out of their name. They are now known as Desolate Theory. They have a show in about a month, more info on that will be posted later. No new news on the acoustic show. as soon as a venue and date is picked, we'll let you know. 3/14/02: We just signed Disordered Intellect! Chris and Dan of broken up Ignorant Youth, has joined the SAR team. With a self titled EP (soon out for $6), they will be joining Tyler. on the acoustic show(s) starting in the coming month. So keep your eyes open for the show(s). We also signed The Great Books Program, yet another solo artist, Dan Koch, currently living in San Luis Obispo. Mp3's of The Great Books Program should be here soon. He too will be playing at the acoustic show(s). The "Your Mom" EP process has begun! The members of Drop Box have started writing songs again, and retired Rasta La Vista is back for one last time to record the one last song. Tyler., the band formally known as "Neff Representative", has their debut album coming out in just a few weeks. The price is not definate, but the CD will have around 10 songs for about $9.
