He hadn't spoke to her since the day she put him out her room that day, which was a week ago and he was now at the airport waiting with his Mom "If she doesn't come, I'm not going." he said looking down at the ground.
"She'll come, I called and told her you'd be here, so she'll be here okay."
Finally he saw her in blue jeans shorts and blue tee shirt, her hair in a messy ponytail, he ran up to her "Thank you for coming, I'm glad you did."
She looked at him as she said "I didn't want to. My mom made me come to say goodbye so 'bye'.
She turned to walked off and he grabbed her hand and she turned as he dropped his bags and threw his arms around her and she started to cry as he said "You are my only friend, my best friend and I'm going to miss you so much."
She pulled away and he saw her crying as she said "When you become famous and have millions of fans you.....you promise you won't forget me."
"I won't forget you I'll never forget you and since you were their for my first performance, I promise to be there for your first NBA game."
"Okay and when you become famous I'll get every single think with you on it, I promise."
She hugged him and they pulled away and then they kissed she was only 12 and him 13 but they were kissing and their parents were still froze in shock when they finally pulled them apart and when she looked at him she knew their friendship would never be the same again and his next words shocked them all.
"I'll see you okay, I love you."
She smiled as their parents once again were in shock then she said "I love you too."
She ran back into his arms and they hugged and his mother pulled on him to go "I won't forget you I promise."
"I know, I won't forget you either."
They both stood there a long while wondering what had just happened and her mother pulled on her shirt "Let's go Lisa"
She waved goodbye and that was the last time he saw her, before that night earlier at the game.

Later on that night Debra was in socks and gray pants and oversized grey shirt talking on the phone once again with Claudia who was still telling her about her same problems as Claudia yelled out "I hate him"
She couldn't help but laugh as she replied "Me too but he's been on the road for like 6 months of his baby's life and now that he's home Claudia, you know he wants to spend time with her."
"But what about me, he acts like I don't exist anymore."
"Stop being jealous, at least he's there."
"Like Howie isn't"
"He isn't, he is in LA on business."
"Well, I don't care, I bet he didn't do you like that."
"I know cause he's not like...he's nothing like that weirdo you call your man."
Claudia hated when she called him that and Debra knew this "Whatever goodnight."
"Bye"
Debra hung up and laughed to herself once more about the conversation now mopping the kitchen floor. Afterwards she went and checked on her daughters and was about to get in bed when she walked by the mirror and saw her hair a mess trying to do something with it, she jumped a little when she felt arms around her waist and a kiss on back of her neck and and looked up into the mirror happy to see him as he said "When I'm not home, why do still get pretty for bed." She turned looking up at him "Are you cheating on me?"
"Yes"
She laughed and turned to look up at him and they kissed each each other after a while they pulled away and he said "I really missed you"
"I missed you too. I'm glad you are home I want you to never ever, leave again."
They both laughed a little as she hugged him once again.

Nick was more than depressed all the time and having Donna out of town wasn't helping, so he decided to hang out with his family, he went up to his room and happen to look out the window and he saw her in her room and quickly moved from the window. He then peered back out the window now ducked down low so they wouldn't see him. As he looked out the window he saw that she had grown up big time, she had on black and white stripped women's boxers and a white shirt, she had a long black robe on also her hair was damp and now reached to the middle of her back, he couldn't see her face cause she was looking at TV. All of a sudden a blond little girl she had to be about 5 ran in and jumped into her arms and they both started laughing as he sat on the floor not realizing he was alone as he said still shocked "She has a kid, I can't believe she has a kid."
"Nicky"
He quickly looked up to see his mother standing in the doorway "Yeah, what."
She looked at him strangely as he realized he was on the floor and he got up closing the curtains as if she read his mind she asked "What were you doing on the floor?"
"Nothing"
"Well...Lisa and her mother are coming over for dinner tonight and they want you to meet someone."
"I don't want to meet someone." he said looking over at her.
"Stop acting like a baby, they will be here at 6pm and don't be late."
He was now mad at Lisa and he didn't know why. He was jealous of her little girl but he didn't know why. He was quite confused as he walked out the room.
At exactly 6:00pm there was a knock at the door, he grew nervous in baggy jeans and a white shirt as he went and opened the door to see her mother and he happy to see him hugged him and him her and then she pulled away looking up at him "Oh my Goodness, you have sure grown up."
"Yeah um where's Lisa?"
"She's at home still getting dressed, she'll be over but look at you."
She came inside and the little girl followed in behind her and he closed the door. About 30 minutes he listened to them talk about him and Lisa when they were kids and his career and her's when finally he crept out the house.
He stood at her door about to knock when he thought out loud "If she has a kid she could be married, What if her husband is here?"
The door all of a sudden swung open and it was her, her jaw dropped as she looked up at him towering over her small frame but he was shocked also as he looked at her, she sure wasn't a little girl anymore.
