"What?" she said confused and surprised by his question.
She sat up and so did he "You want to be my girlfriend?"
"I don't care but what do we have to do?"
"We have to kiss I guess....just for 5 seconds."
She thought about it a while before saying "Okay"
They were both a little nervous but felt comfortable and pulled closely together and kissed and then pulled away and were quiet for a long while when he said "Well since you are my girlfriend now you have to sleep on my side."
"But I don't want to."
"You have too." he said getting as angry as she was.
"I don't have to do what you say." she said rolling her eyes.
"Yes you do."
"Well I don't want to be your stupid girlfriend anymore. I hate you." she said as she moved over to the far side of the tent.
"Fine you don't have too."
"Fine!"
She hit him and move over more ever thought it was not much room for her to move too. They didn't speak for he rest of the night. She fell asleep first and he just watched her for a while then he moved over to her and touched her face thinking how was he going to be able to break the news to her about him having to leave.

Nick and Brian were hanging out on the basketball court when he asked just thinking about the game they were going to go to that night "You think she will be mad at me?"
"What are you talking about?" he asked trying to focus more on the game then about the question he had asked.
"Lisa? The game is tonight and I'm nervous about seeing her again, it's been......I haven't seen her since I was 13."
"She came looking for you so she can't be mad at you just hope......well nevermind." he said thinking about the question he was about to ak.
"What?.....tell me."
"I was going to tell you to hope she looks good but that doesn't matter cause you are with Donna."
"Yeah I love Donna, I wonder how Lisa looks tonight I wonder if she still has that scar."
"What scar?"
He laughed as he shot the ball into the hoop as he explained "When we were younger I pushed her once cause she made me mad and when I left she still had the scar on the bottom of her chin...I think."
"It sounds to me you are in love with her."
"Yeah as my friend, me and Lisa could never be together." he said looking over at him thinking about his words.
"Why?"
"She's not my type plus I love Donna."
"Right if you say so." Brian said rolling his eyes as he shot the ball in the hoop.
As they finished their game Kevin was not having such a good evening as Stephanie yelled at him "Yeah you damn come home and be here for like 2 weeks and wow you are the best boyfriend in the world."
"You know what I do and you knew when you got with me that it required me to travel a lot." he said yelling at her as she did to him.
"I didn't know as much."
"You travel"
"So what! that's my job"
"What do you call what I do? It's my job and I work damn hard so I can provide for you and-"
She yelled "You know I don't need you to provide for me Kevin I can do it my damn self I don't need you."
"You don't huh."
"No, I do not."
"Leave then, it's over."
"Fine, to hell with you." she grabbed her suitcase and walked towards the door but he blocked the door where she couldn't leave and he kissed her and she didn't want to kiss back she wanted to leave but she couldn't help it as she kissed back.

Nick couldn't decide what to wear or what to do with his hair, he was in the mirror when Donna walked in "What are you getting all dressed up for?"
"I didn't tell you." he turned to her as she walked over to the closet where he was.
"No"
"I got tickets to a basketball game and me and Brian are gonna go."
"What?! I don't want you to go, why can't you just stay and watch it with me on TV."
"It's a big important game"
She followed close behind the mirror "So what?"
"I want to be there It's more fun when you're right there you know with crowd."
She said in a whining voice he hated "But Nicky."
"I really hate when you make that sound Donna." he said walking around trying to get dress.
She went and flopped onto the bed "Well why did you ask him, why didn't you ask me to go with you?"
"Cause you hate basketball and you'll be safer here." he said looking at the shirt he pulled out the closet.
"Safer?" she asked as she laid across the bed really not wanting him to go.
"Yeah it is a championship game and things may get out of hand and I don't want you to get hurt." he pulled his shirt on.
She looked at him trying to fix his shirt in the mirror and she walked over and helped him asking "Why are you dressing up then?"
"I'm not dressing up."
She released a huge sigh as she went and sat back on the bed "You usually don't care how you look when you go out but today you do."
He walked over and sat beside her on the bed "If you let me go to this game I promise to make it up to you, I promise."
"Okay"
She laughed and kissed him she wasn't done with the kiss but he was as he got up and ran off. He finally decided for baggy black jeans and button down black and white shirt with his hair slicked back he heard Brian outside he grabbed the tickets and rushed out the door on the ride there he started thinking back again.
Since they lived right across from each other he could look right over into her room and that's what he was doing as she walked in dressed in red&blue stripped boxers for girls and a blue shirt and cozy blue robe, he took a huge breath and climbed out his window and into her's as she pulled her hair back and turned to him "Go home."
"I have to tell you something."
She turned to the mirror "Tell me"
"I'm going away"
"Good, I wish you would try that right now." she said still struggling with her hair in the mirror.
"Lisa I'm not joking."
She watched him sit down on the bed from the mirror and she saw the look on his face and she came and stood in front of him "You're serious?"
"Yeah"
Her growing a little scared sat next to him both of them silent then she started rubbing her hands together as she always did when she was nervous as she asked "Where are you going?"
"You remember those guys AJ and Howie remember them." She nodded 'yes' not meeting his eyes "Well you know we've been singing together and now they have got 2 other guys and we're a group and we're going to New York to try and cut a deal."
"But you're coming back right?" she said finally looking up into his eyes.
"If we get signed they want us to stay and start working you know." he looked away from her eyes.
She started to feel really strange a feeling she had never felt before and she hated it and didn't know what to do or how to deal with it so she turned it into angry "Get out"
"What?!"
She stood up so did he "Get out, go away, I want to never see you again, I hope you love it there, get out."
She pushed him and him confused "What's wrong with you? I said..I'm sorry Lisa."
He couldn't believe she was turning all red and was about to cry and he never seen her cry before as she pushed him again and yelled "Get out, leave!"
He couldn't believe she was putting him out like this so he climbed out the window and she slammed it shut and closed the curtains and burst into tears and she ran downstairs to her mother who was in the kitchen and turned when she saw her "Lisa honey what's wrong."
"I hate Nick cause he said he's going away, he's going away just like Dad did I hate them both."
"Lisa come here." her mother said holding her arms out to her daughter.
Her mother sat and Lisa sat up in her lap and cried her eyes out in her mother shoulder and he was at home telling his mother of the whole thing "And then after that she put me out."
"She's just hurt, Let her cool off and you can talk to her tomorrow okay." he nodded 'okay' and walked up to his room and saw her window still closed and he got in bed.
