Old Feelings Return

"It's um Johnson vs. James, you're talking about that internet-stock case right." Stephanie said not trying to interrupt but to help out.

"Yes but I an quite sure it's Johnson vs. Miller I mean my husband is the judge."

"I think I am quite sure cause I am James attorney." with that she walked off really ready to leave and as if he had read mind he walked over to her "Hey" she quickly turned "Are you ready to leave?"

"Yes I am"

"Let me get you back home"

"Yeah come on"

She walked off and he took one quick drink and followed behind her.

After the small party they both were walking around outside the very esqusite building and its surroundings they started to walk over this small bridge and they both stopped and looked over the edge quiet at first and then she decided to say something "I had ....well a little fun tonight."

"Are you glad you came?"

"Yeah, I've been to parties....dinner parties like this before it wasn't so bad, you know I like it down here even though it's the city the sky seems so much clearer here ..at night anyway."

She looked up and so did he as he turned from the bridge looking the other way as he said "This nothing compared to home"

She turned not looking at him but straight ahead as he was "It is really?"

"Yes"

She laughed a little and so did he as she started walking and her followed he knew she was nervous about something but he had no idea why as she finally said "I have to tell you something."

"What?"

She stopped and turned looking up at him now very nervous and a little scared "Tony asked me to marry him and move to New York...me and Tommy."

He didn't know what to say he had so many different emotions running threw his body at once. He was angry, hurt, jealous and shocked all at the same time. She couldn't read his facial expression because it was so blank and they both were quiet a long while.

He finally said "Well what did you say? W-What did you tell him? Did you accept?"

"Well I told him I'd think about it. I just need one good reason to help me make my decision I need-"

"Hey" they heard from behind them and they both turned to see Tiffany walking towards them both "Kevin I am sorry, I came as soon as I could the photo shoot was longer than I thought." She kissed him and then turned to Stephane "Hi Steph"

She returned the greeting in a flat tone "Hey"

Tiffany turned back to him "I really wish I could have been there"

"Me too" he said trying sound happy to see her.

"Since I missed your dinner party thingy....Let's go out me and you?"

"Tiff I-"

Step having watched the whole thing wishing she had never told him jumped in quickly to say "NO! I mean you two go ahead."

"No Steph We need to talk"

He tried to walk up to her but she just moved away walking backwards "No it's fine, It's really better this way, I'll see you later, you two have fun."

Tiffany having no clue why the both of them were acting so strangely looked at her then up at him as she grabbed his hand "See you two can talk later"

Stephanie waved goodbye as she turned and walked off then she stopped and turned back to see them kissing she just decided to leave it at that.
