Old Feelings Return

"It's your fault, it seems every night that you are here, thats all you want to do." he contiuned to pace the room "Why don't you sit?"

"I dont wanna sit." he said still pacing.

"Fine then don't, you are being very stubborn right now I hope you know" she climbed off the counter top and picked up the pregnancy test "Well I'm pregnat are you gonna like divorce me now."

He turned to her "NO, you'll only cost me more then."

She was a little hurt "I'm gonna go start dinner."

She walked out the bathroom door she wanted to cry cause she was so hurt but she held back the tears.

He had no idea what was up with her, she wouldn't even look at him, She was happy about having another baby and so was he he ws just worried.

Later that night she was in her pajamas her hair fell straight down her back and she climbed in bed and so did he as he asked "What's wrong with you? You only wear that many clothes to be when you are mad at me?"

"I don't want you to get yourself in trouble you know I could end up with twins."

"What?"

She sat up and then turned to him "What you said earlier? 'no you'll cost me more than' that really hurt I mean when we got married I thought you wanted a family with me and I thought you were happy."

"I was only joking D, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, I am happy with you, I've never been happier in my whole life."

"Well..why did you say that?"

He laughed "It was a joke"

"The jokes on you cause if you touch me, I'm gonna kill you" she turned her back to him and covered herself up but he grabbed her pulling her to him and all she could do was laugh.

Kevin and Stephanie hadn't sopke to each other that whole week and then he decided to call her, he dialed up her number and she answered laughing "Hello"

"Hey Steph, What are you doing? Are you busy?"

"No what's up?"

"I need your help, you have to say yes."

"I'll try"

He released a huge sigh as he said "Will you be my date for the-"

She quickly get pissed as she said quickly "Wasn't Tiffany suppose to be your date? That is your girlfriend you know."

"Just as my date Steph, nothing more nothing less"

"Tony is back in town" she said quickly and he got pissed off as he almost yelled "I don't care Steph if you .....no you better be-"

"I'm not going"

"Be here at my place at 7pm Thursday night"

She slammed the phone down and he soon after hung up hoping she would show up.

Kevin walked in to his place a few nights later already being late he went into his bedroom to see Stephanie. She sat on his bed looking at TV he could tell she had just got there a few minutes ago, he was very surprised and grateful to see her but he didn't show it in his voice. "I knew you'd come" he said tossing his coat on the bed.

She stood up to face him "Don't flatter yourself..I came because Tommy begged me that's the only reason I came."

"Well thank Tommy for me." he said as he walked over to his closet and she turned towards his direction.

"Where are we going?"

He went and sat on the bed and she released a huge sigh and went into the bathroom slamming the door behind herself.

About 30 minutes later she came out the bathroom with a towel wrapped around herself and she came and sat next to him

"Why are you always so mean to me?" he said and she quickly stood up

"I came didn't I?"

"Only because Tommy told you too right..thats what you said."

"So... but I still could have not come"

"You came because you still have feelings for me." he said as he laid back on the bed.

"I know that's not it."

"Yes it is...but since you don't want to admit it......thank you for coming."

"I'm always there for you, I'm your biggest fan." he laughed as she sat back down "I am"

"So how long is that guy back..the one you're dating."

"How long..no why isn't that chick here..you know the one who cheated on you and you are dating her again."

"She had to go out of town."

"See what would you do without me."

He laughed and kissed her on the cheek and she did the same to him. After a while they stopped talking and she back to get dressed and he had to get shower and get dressed in the guest room since she had his bedroom and bathroom. When she came out the bathroom she wasn't surprised to see a dress on the bed.

He stood downstairs nicely dressed in a black suit and she laughed looking at him look at himself in the mirror and then he turned to her in the long black dress and she turned to reveal the back was out, heels. She had her hair pinned up with some still in her face and finally she spoke "I am your perfect woman for the night."

He thought she looked really good but when he spoke he didn't seem to impressed as he said "Good"

She hit him as she asked "How do I look?"

He grabbed the jewelry box and opened it and she tried to touch it very impressed and he quickly closed the box back as he said "You are just borrowing this okay...If I don't get it back ..I will sue you okay."

"Shut up" she said grabbing the box and putting the necklace on herself and she looked herself "As you can probably tell...I am nervous any encouraging words."

"Smile and be nice to others and me."

"I can handle others but being nice to you..I'll have to see about that."

He opened it door "Let's go Steph"

She grabbed her bag and walked out the door and he followed closing the door behind himself.

It was very quiet in the car, he was thinking about something and she was thinking about their old relationship and Tony's proposal and she asked "I've been thinking a lot lately and um......you well.....us crossed our mind, Why did we break up?"

"You broke it off, you said something about us never seeing each other."

"Yeah but in 3 years we never tried to-"

He hated when she talked about their old relationship cause it was a sensitive subject for him as he said "Why are you all of a sudden on our old relationship? Do you want to get back together or something?"

"No..well I don't know.......If I wanted you too take me back..would you?"

He released a huge sigh and his answer completely surprised her "Yeah I would take you back"

"Why?"

He shrugged his shoulders as he said "I'm not sure...maybe because we didn't give each other much of a chance."

"Well what about you and Tiffany. Don't you love her?"

"Steph......it's lonely or well.....it gets lonely on the road and when you come home you want someone there and she is there and since I can't be with who I love-"

"Are you saying you love me?"

"In so many words are you saying that to me."

"Let's just forget about it okay"

He shrugged his shoulders and then turned on music and she just looked out the window still searching her mind with questions in which she was getting answers at but not the ones she wanted.
