"Yeah, its really cool, it's nice." she said still looking around.
"Since you like the place so much can I um cook you breakfast"
His small dog ran into the room and her terrified jump up on the couch and he came over and grabbed the dog "He won't hurt you I promise."
"Are you sure?" she asked still very scared "Hey that's that Taco Bell dog, I heard that those dogs are viscous."
"Not this one, he's not like that ..see touch him." she moved away cause she didn't want to "Dana he won't hurt you."
"Okay just let me....I am sorry for getting on your couch like this." she said as she sat and he sat beside her the dog still in his arms.
He couldn't help but laugh "Why don't you just calm down and pet him?"
She slowly moved her hand over and patted the small dog on the head. Then she jumped when the dog jumped into her arms and her still a little scared "Is he this friendly with all your friends?"
"No just you."
She laughed as she rubbed the small dog a little more comfortable as she said "Can I use your shower real quick? I mean those steps really have me sweaty."
"Yeah take you time." he said picking the dog up and sitting him on the floor as she stood following him towards the bathroom. When they reached the bathroom she went inside and he raced off very happy to have this beautiful and friendly girl in his condo.
When she was done she got dressed in overall shorts with a white tank top under it and socks (she didn't feel she needed her shoes yet) She opened the bathroom door to be greeted by his dog she laughed as she walked and the dog followed her back into the living room and she smell the mouth watering small from the kitchen. She followed her nose and found herself in this huge kitchen that she automatically fell in love with.
"Hey" she heard him call from another room and she followed where the sound was coming from and found herself in a dining area. He had the table nicely set for two and he sat at the table and she smiled "You did all this for me."
"Come sit" she did as told sitting across from him.
"This is really sweet of you, Thank you for being so nice."
"You're welcome"
After blessing the food they began to eat and she asked "What's your dog name?"
"His name is Tyke, Do you like him now that you know is not vicious."
She laughed a little "Yes I do, He's a sweet little dog." they were both quiet eating when she looked over at him "You really loved the girl you use to date didn't you"
He looked up at her surprised she had said that "Yeah I guess..Well I don't know ..I guess I had strong feelings for her. How do you know?"
She laughed "Wild guess" as she started back to eat.
"You know why you laugh so much?"
"Because I am happy and because-" she stopped to let him finish the statement.
"You have one of the most beautiful smiles in the world, I can't believe this..you are the first girl I ever told that too."
"Really" she said believing him.
"No, I've told that to millions of girls."
She laughed and so did he. After breakfast she helped him clear the table as she said "That was a really good meal. It's impressive to know you can cook."
"Come on" he pulled her out the room and into the living room where they sat on the couch Tyke jumped between them as Brian said "I think he really likes you."
"Well I think I like him too." she said picking the dog up again.
"He's not the only one that's really likes you."
She looked over at him and then back at the dog "Well...I...Why do you have the blinds closed?"
She asked getting up sitting the dog down as he said "I don't know, I never really paid much attention to it."
She searched the blinds to find where you open them at and once she did she opened then letting in the early morning sunlight "There Brian that is so much better huh."
"Yeah it is, come sit." she came and sat next to him.
"If you can sing, Will you sing to me?"
"No" he said laughing.
"Why?"
"You may be using me for my voice"
"Yeah right, well later will you."
"Yeah I will, I promise" she laughed and he loved to see her laugh.
She was surprised when he grabbed her hand lacing their fingers between one another and she laid her head on his shoulder as they talked more.
They both ended up falling asleep cause they had been up since 6am but at around 2 o' clock Brian woke up and she curled up next to him. To him she looked so adorable sleep as she was awake. He didn't want to wake her so he got up slowly leaving her to sleep laid out on the couch. He was hungry it being past lunch time. He quietly got his shoes and went out the the door.
Thirty minutes later he came back and she was still asleep. So he turned the TV on and had his lunch. About an hour later she started to move around like she was about to wake as she said "Brian, Are you still here?"
He came and kneeled down beside her "Yeah"
He grabbed her hand and she slowly opened her eyes and she smiled happy to see him there as she sat up "How long was I asleep?"
"A long time"
She giggled a little and he handed her a bag and then got up and went out the room and came back to give her a soda and she said "Thank you."
"You're very welcome."
They ate lunch while watching TV. She elbowed him playfully and he did it back as she said "This is what you do all day."
"Yeah if I am not working"
"You're lying to me."
She got up still eating her sub-sandwich as she walked over and picked up the basketball in the corner and he asked "Can you play?"
"No, can you"
"Can I?" he said looking over at her.
