He looked over at her "I can start the conversation okay Tell-"
"No" she said cutting him off "You have to tell me who you are."
"Well I won't tell you everything just yet but...your students know me because I am in a group....a singing group."
"Are you like really, really famous? And you don't want to tell me that much cause you want me to like you for you and not you the singing group you, Is that it?"
"You are right, How did you figure all that out. Do you really know who I am and don't want to tell me?"
She laughed "Maybe I do, Maybe I don't" she turned back in her seat "But see I listen to a lot of the music my mother use to listen to when we younger"
"We?"
"Oh ..I have a twin sister."
He looked over at her then back ahead "So there is another one of you around here?"
She laughed a little as she said "Not exactly around here but she lives in California."
"Is that where you are from?"
"Yeah. I just came down here about 6 months ago."
"All by yourself?"
"Yeah"
"Why?"
"I just needed a change." she thinking of her past and then she turned back around in her seat having been facing him.
They arrived at the park. He carried her basket for her finally they found a spot on the grass and she laid a basket on the grass and sat and he sat next to her and she spoke "Really about your singing thing..I don't know who you are but..I'd like to meet you as you not the singing group you, you can tell me about that or him later."
He laughed "Thank You, now tell me more about you."
"I'm just a 3rd grade teacher, nothing special about me, I have no kids, no boyfriend so it's just me and I like to joke and laugh as you can tell. She laughed "And I love kids so I really love my job."
He nodded his approval "You're interesting."
"Thank you......I guess if you mean that in a good way." she laughed
"Do you ever stop laughing?"
"I can stop laughing see watch.." she cleared her face up and he made a crazy face and she started back laughing and so did he.
They talked a while longer joking around then him starting to feel more comfortable said "You know..your laughing...it's a good thing, you can brighten up my life a little."
"I hope I can." she laid back on her back looking up at the blue sky as she said "It's so beautiful out here today."
"You're beautiful..Why don't you have a boyfriend?"
She sat up looking over at him "You're famous why aren't you dating some super model?"
She laid back down as he let out a huge sigh "What happened?"
I was going out with this girl but she was ..we just grew apart."
"Well what are looking for in a relationship?"
"I don't really know"
"Well I was involved in a relationship with this guy..but ..I guess we..grew apart too..besides me catching him in bed with another women."
"You did really?"
"Yeah but forget all that." she sat up "Are you hungry?"
"Can you cook? Because I dated this one girl and she.."
She laughed "Yes I can cook, but I didn't really cook I made sandwiches but last night I made cupcakes for my kids and well I made some extra and I brought you some."
She pulled one out the container she had and handed it to him and he took a bite of it and she laugh as he said "Pretty good."
"Pretty good? That's the best cupcake you ever had." he laughed and so did she as she finished "If you are in a group then that means that you can sing."
"So I've been told" She laughed and hit him playfully.
They spent most of the day at the park, joking and playing until around 8 o' clock and he took her home and they stood at her door and before unlocking the door she turned to him "I really had fun today."
"So did I"
"Tomorrow is Saturday and every Saturday morning I jog in the park and if you want you can join me."
"Okay I will, What time?"
"6:00am"
She finally opened her door and was about to go in "Here" she pulled the plate out her basket and handed it to him "Since you liked them so much."
"Thank You" he said laughing "Well..goodnight"
She hugged him "Goodnight" as she went inside.
He couldn't believe that he was up at 6am in the morning just to see this girl again but he was. The sun hadn't even came up completely yet and she was standing far away looking at him looking for her. She laughed and tapped him on the back and he turned and seeing her smiling face made being up at 6am not such a big deal and dressed in the short black biker shorts and black sports bra as she said "Hey I can't believe you came, very impressive."
"Me being up at 6am on a Saturday Ms. Adams is a lot.."
She laughed "Come on"
She began to jog and he jogged next to her and he asked "How long do you do this?"
"Until I get tired"
"Okay" he laughed "You'll hang out with me today."
"Yes of course, I showed you what I liked to do in my free time and today you can show me what you like to do."
"Okay well come on"
He stopped, grabbing her arm stopping her as she said confused "What?"
"This is not what I like to do in my free time but..I promise to make this up to you, come on."
He pulled her by her hand and she laughed. She went to her car and got her bag and then they took his car.
She was surprised to see where he lived but she like it it was right near the beach and now him and her were walking up some stairs and then she asked "Brian I know this place has elevators."
"Yeah but I told you I'd make your morning up to you."
She knew exactly what he was talking about and she laughed as she said "What floor do you live on?"
"20th and we're only on the 4th so come on."
"You're joking right." she said truly hoping that he was.
