"Okay just a little more rest." He flopped back into his bed and she released a huge sigh as she walked over and sat him back up "No, they said you're very late. It's 12:00 you were suppose to be there at 10:00am.
He finally sat up getting kind of annoyed with her he sat up burying his face in his hands as he spoke sleep still deep in his voice "I forgot all about that."
"If you still want to be apart of that group I think you better get and up and get going."
She felt kind of sorry for him she was the one who kept him up all night. Her thoughts were cut short when they heard the knock on the door and she quickly got and ran to go check it and he went to go get a shower.
She pulled the door opened surprised to see Nick she was expecting to see Howie and he spoke first as he walked in "You have sure grown up, If you were staying with me I would be late too."
She closed that door and turned to him "If that wasn't coming from you I would take it the wrong way."
She began to walk off into the kitchen and he followed close behind her. She suddenly stopped and he bumped right into her, she quickly turned looking up at him.
"I'm sorry um... Can I ask you something?" he asked sounding as if he was nervous.
She turned and started walking back to the kitchen yet again he followed "Yeah, What would you like to know?"
He sat in a chair and she sat across from him and he asked her "Are you and AJ dating?"
She was quite surprised by his question but she didn't show it in her answer "No, Why do you ask?"
He was about to answer her when AJ walked in the room and they both got quiet and turned to him and him just having walked in wanted to know what was going on or know what they were talking about that they suddenly had to stop when he walked in the room and Nick feeling uncomfortable stood up "Um Claudia I will talk to you later okay."
"Okay"
He left the room and she turned to him but he was in the fridge "What is he doing here?"
"I don't know this is your house."
She got up and walked over to the fridge where he was and he closed it shut looking at her for answers and she innocently said "What!"
He just walked off and she followed him then suddenly she jumped into his path looking up at him, crossing her arms "Should I be expecting anymore strange girls coming by here?"
"Goodbye Claudia call me if you need anything."
He kissed her on the forehead before walking out the door and she hated he still treated her like a little kid as she turned to start to clean.
When they arrived they went over to see the guys had already started but they stopped when they saw them and Brian said "Finally, you know you're going to be here all night."
"Not me I was here." Nick said as he walked over and grabbed his headphones and AJ followed him picking up his and saying "Let's just get started and no talk about Claudia."
"She's not a little girl anymore she is a hot babe now." Nick said being sure not to look up to see AJ's glared.
"She's only 17 so you all need to,you know,drop it." Kevin said not really caring what they were talking about and AJ not realizing what he was saying "She'll be 18 in 5 months."
"So you have been counting." Howie added in.
Kevin ready to get started "Let's get started."
And on that note they did. AJ didn't know what was going on between or with Nick and Claudia but he knew it made him feel weird and he didn't like it too much.
That night AJ came home he was completely shocked when he came in his house was completely clean and spotless and that was strange to him. It was always pretty clean but not this clean. She'd heard him come in and she came out the room in a really long pajama type shirt and socks her hair very messy he could tell she didn't feel well as he closed the door.
"What's wrong?"
"Girl Stuff, you wouldn't understand."
"A girl has never stayed here long enough for me to go through this."
"Go through what." she said annoyed with his statement.
She helped him take his coat off and and she tossed it over into a near by chair and she flopped down on the couch and he soon followed looking over at her "What did you do today other than clean?"
"Nothing, what did you do? You look very tired."
"Yes I am tired standing up all day, You would think singing was easy but it is work, it was this one part we could not get right and we had to do it over and over again."
"Well today I called Stacey and her well our.....step dad he .....I want to see her."
"Didn't your Dad."
"Step dad."
"Well your Step dad, didn't he tell you since you don't live there you can't see her right."
"Yeah but I have ben calling her and writing her letters and sending her presents and she has the biggest crush on Nick." she said smiling a little as she though about it.
That being music to his ears he tunred to her and said "So that means that you'd never date him right cause you know it'll hurt her."
She laughed a little and looked back over to him "I wouldn't date him anyway."
"Why not?"
"Let me tell you a secret come here." he came closer to her and she sat up on the couch and whispered "Cause he is not you."
He sat with his jaw on the ground as she kissed him on the cheek and got up laughing going back into her room but he decided to brush it off as a joke. After he took a shower he got directly into bed as soon as he was just about to fall asleep he felt his covers get lifted and she climbed in the bed next to him.
"What are you doing?"
"You don't mind do you I won't try anything I promise."
"I'm usually the one who uses those lines."
She laughed grabbing a pillow and turning her back to him. He felt a little uncomfortable in bed with her and was thinking of that when he happened to look over at her appearing to be asleep to him, he couldn't resist running his fingers through her hair in which he did but she wasn't sleep but very much awake but she didn't say anything she just went to sleep.
The next morning she woke up she sat straight up resisting where she was. She pulled her hair out her face to see him sitting at the edge of the bed watching TV. She laughed a little as she said "You enjoyed running your fingers through my hair."
He got up and then came and laid next to her still on top of the covers and she curled up under them as he said "Sleeping Beauty finally woke up."
�And I feel like crap, my whole body is aching but I want to go swimming today, you have that huge pool I bet you never use.�
�I use the Jacuzzi though�
She laughed as she said �I wouldn�t dare get in that thing, you probably have had millions of chicks in that thing.�
�As much as you may not maybe believe me�I don�t bring many chicks here�that not that far anyway.� He said as he sat back up looking at the TV.
�Well I don�t believe you.� she thought about it a minute then she said �So you are saying� he laid back next to her as she looked over at him and said �You don�t bring many girls here.�
He laughed as he lay looking up at the ceiling �Oh I didn�t say that�just not as many as you think or anybody thinks�girls have places too you know.�
�Yeah right� she said laughing as she laid back into the bed.
�Yeah right nothing� he got up on his feet standing over her as he said �Get out my bed�
�No I don�t want too, I love this bed so much� she wrapped the covers around herself more.
�I need to go pick up some things and since you don�t want to hang out with me��
�I do want to hang out with you�I just don�t feel well right now. But tonight I should�no I mean I will feel much, much better and then we can swim and talk later.�
�Yeah so I�ll see you tonight�
�Is 8:00 o�clock okay?� she said looking up at him as he grabbed his glasses off the nightstand.
�It�s a date babe� he said and she sat up and kissed him on the cheek and he kissed her on the forehead and then he left, after she heard the door close she laughed a little and then flopped back into the bed. Then she sat back up quickly and got out the bed, she wanted to make the night special and in order to do that she thought she should get started now. As he drove in his car he knew he wanted to get her something special but he had no idea what to get her so he went to the person he knew would have the perfect idea or at least suggestion.
