"No hug, No kiss, no greeting at all......What did you expect that flat chested,no figure having, no butt having little 15 year old that left....well she has grown up..lets go get my back so I can get out of here." she said walking ahead of them.
In the car she sat in the back and Howie and AJ up front she talked to Howie about all he adventures in California and everything else she could think of while AJ just listened. When they arrived at Howie's place she kissed him on the cheek and said goodbye and he climbed out. She then climbed up front. As he was driving he happen to look over at her and she was pulling her braid loose with her fingers and when she got it undone she repeatedly ran her fingers through her hair, her eyes close and her head back a little he thought she looked so beautiful doing that
"Stop"
She stopped and opened her eyes and looked over at him "Why?" He just nodded his head 'no' focusing back on the road and she laughed "Well my mother expects me next week so me and you have a whole week to caught up...that's if you ever get up the guts to talk to me"
"I can talk to you it's just......you've changed, your not a little girl anymore you're like......you have boobs and sexy legs and stuff you look like women I mean you've always been........just forget and by the way you smell great"
She couldn't help but laugh as he pulled into the video store parking lot and they both got out and she followed him inside "Don't pick anything crappy I am going to look around" she said as she walked off to explore the video store.
When he saw that she was gone he pulled his cell phone out his pocket and dialed up Howie's number who answered "Did you see her? She can't stay at my place or I swear things are going to go further then they are suppose too."
"I think you have always liked her it's just now that she is legal you-"
"Here she comes I have to go" He quickly hung up and she walked up to him her hands behind her back. "Did you get anything?" he asked as she dstood before him.
"I don't want anything" she said as she pulled a goofy looking stuff animal from behind her back and handed it to him "I really missed you while I was away, I'm really happy to see you again, I'm still the same girl you talk to about everything and I mean everything so I hope you can over look the physical changes and start back talking to me... please."
"I will try"
She laughed and hugged him. After that he opened up. He saw pass the changes and they laughed and talked just like they always did but it was something about her smile which made his heart melt and he knew for sure that she wasn't 15 anymore.
When they arrived at his place he opened the door and she followed him inside and the first words out of her mouth were "Look at this place, it's a dump"
"It's not that bad, it's not a dump" he said trying to defend himself.
"Yes it is, plus I forgot to tell you I need some things from the store and also the book store and also-" she said still looking around.
She was cut off when he dropped her things on the floor and turned to her and saying "I'm not running around today for you."
"Yes you are" she said as she turned to him.
"You can't talk to me that way in my house, I have never ran errands for anyone but myself."
She laughed and walked over to the door in which she opened and then placing one hand on her hip, she pulled the list out her bag and handed it to him "That's the list, I'll see you when you get back."
He walked out the door and she closed it behind him laughing a little she then looked around quickly again. She thought it wasn't really a dump, her aunt was sunch a clean freak to her it was little junky. She then picked her bags up and made herway to the back to get a shower.
After her shower she got dressed in really short shorts and a shirt with thin straps. After she unpacked her things and put them away in the guest room she turned some music on and started to clean the place, about an hour later there was a knock at the door she opened the door to see a girl."Yes"
"Who are you?" the girl asked looking at her as if she had never saw a girl before.
"I'm Claudia and you are..."
"Tanya, AJ's girlfriend and what are you doing here in that." she said pointing at he shorts that she had on.
She looked at herself up and down and caught on to where the girl was trying to get at and she laughed "I'm just a friend of his, don't worry, come in he should be back soon."
The girl came and had a seat on the couch looking around as she spoke "He speaks of you a lot. Claudia right" she said as if she hadn't heard her name before.
"As he does you" Claudia said as if trying to cover him up for some reason knowing she had never heard of the girl before.
"Yeah and he hasn't called me in a month" she said looking around herself as if inspecting the place.
Claudia feeling arkward and out of place "So um I am going to go into my room, the guest room and you...you know...he'll be here soon." not wanting to get involved in all that raced out the room. And in her room minutes later she heard him come in she was about to run into the living room when she heard them having an argument so she decided to just wait and from what she heard they broke up after she heard the front door slam she went back into the living room and he looked over at her.
"Go put some clothes on."
"I do have on clothes, Did you get what I asked?" she asked walking over to him.
"Yeah I guess, thanks for cleaning the place, I'm going to go get a shower okay." he said as he walked off.
"Can I join you?"
"Yeah, come on"
He laughed as he took his coat off going out the room. She went over to the bags to make sure he got what she wanted. Then she raced into his bedroom where he was she jumped up onto the bed and him with his back turned flipping threw some things in the closet "Get off my bed"
"This bed is beautiful" she said as she flopped back onto it looking up at the ceiling.
"Would you please get out?"he said as the phone ringed "If you decide to answer and they ask 'Who you are?' say you are my maid."
"Shut up I don't want to answer you stupid phone." She rolled off the bed and walked out the room as he laughed and closed his door.
After his shower he went into the living room. She was sitting on the couch on her knees eating pizza he'd brought home. She'd sat popcorn and other goodies on the table, and some of the videos they had got earlier and he took a deep breath and went and sat next to her
"You should have not lied to your parents"
"Don't start with the moral stuff you are not the one to talk." she said as she flipped throught the different TV stations.
"I'm not nearly as bad as you."
"Does it really matter?" she place the remote on the table before them and started to put her hair up "I mean your mother took care of you by showing you lots of love and attention and my mom's way of showing that was marrying a jerk so it doesn't matter......nope it doesn't matter"
"I don't know what you are talking about but if you say so."
"You haven't changed at all, you look exactly the same except the piecings, tattoos and your hair and-"
"Please" he said cutting her off.
"Are you happy I am here honestly?" she looked over at him to try and read his expression to see if he was telling the truth.
"Honestly, the truth?"
"Yes the truth"
"Yeah I missed you, especially your laugh."
She couldn't help but laugh as he got up and disappeared out the room.
