"Claudia come here"
Claudia rolled her eyes and released a huge sigh as she raced downstairs to see what her mother wanted. When she came into the den and saw her Step dad, she knew something was up.
"Yes"
"We need to talk honey, come sit"
Claudia did as told, she went and took a seat in a nearby chair, glared at her stepfather, then turned back to her mother.
"So, what's up?"
Her Mother went and sat next to her husband, she looked at him, then back at Claudia
"We've thought this over throughly. Seeing that you and Jack never get along, it breaks my heart, but I can't take this anymore, I have really been thinking about this............ I am sending you to stay with your Aunt Clara in California tomorrow"
Claudia couldn't believe this, she jumped out her chair hurt and angry
"What?! Just because you married a jackass I hate, you are sending me away. Why don't you get rid of his ass? Mom I-I and your daughter he is just some dumb guy you can't-"
Before she knew it he had got up out his seat and he walked over and slapped her to the floor and her mother jumped up
"Jack!"
He turned back yelling at her mother "I am sick of her mouth"
She got up and raced out the room and her mother followed behind her "Claudia honey wait"
"No mom not this time"
Before her mother could stop her she raced out the door slamming it behind herself in tears and so was her mother as she turned to her husband looking at her with an angry glare as he yelled "I bet that little tramp is running to that boy house"
"He is her only friend, her best friend, I met him and his mother, he is a very nice boy."
"An 18 year old! She is only 15."
"Let her be, at least he can talk to her, he got her to bring her grades and stop skipping school and to stop running away from home so stop it."
On that note her mother walked up the stairs and he stood there a second thinking about what had just went on and about how happy he was having talked her mother into sending her away and he then went upstairs.
Claudia was knocking at the door hugging her self as to warm herself. It was very cold out and she hadn't grabbed a coat, finally the door swung open and she walked in and Howie closed the door and yelled to the back.
"Your little girlfriend is here"
"I am not his girlfriend"
AJ walked into the room from his bedroom not really surprised she was there because to him she seemed to always be there.
"Go home Claudia"
"Shut up"
"What happened to your face? Your stepfather hit you again"
She followed him to the kitchen "Yeah, Can I stay here tonight?"
"Of course you can sleep in Howie's bed"
Howie walked into the kitchen "Yeah right"
"Hey I am cold and hungry, take care of me"
She felled back into AJ's arms and he picked her up and Howie laughed watching his friend hold the 15 year old girl
"Take care of your women"
AJ release a huge sigh as Howie left the kitchen to go back to his room and AJ carried her into the living room. He sat her on the couch and she sat up to see him sit next to her.
"I didn't have time to get clothes this time"
"Claudia my girlfriend is coming over tonight."
And then their was a knock at the door and he got up and opened the door and the super model looking girl came in and Claudia turned her noise up at her as she did to all his girlfriends not cause she was jealous, (well that's what she told herself) and the girl walked over and Claudia stood up
"You must be Claudia"
"Yes I am" she said as if trying to defend herself in some way.
"It's 10:00pm shouldn't you in bed."
That pissed her off and he knew it as she got up and stormed towards the door "Claudia! wait!"
She slammed the door as the girl grabbed AJ who was about to stop her and she kissed him looking up at him
"Don't worry, she's young she will get over it" and she kissed him again "Plus she can't do the this I can"
He laughed as they both kissed each other
Claudia caught the bus back home. She showered and afterwards packed her things she couldn't believe that her mother was sending her away so sudden and out of the blue over some guy. She went and got in bed turning on the lamp next to her bed and she grabbed her journal out of her night stand drawer and started to write, she didn't want to leave but she knew it was best.
"Surprise!"
She was not really surprised to see AJ climbing inside her window and she sat up as her stood before her kind of out of breath.
"What are you doing here?"
He wondered around her room messing with the little stuff animals on her dresser
"I think my girlfriend dumped me but girls come and go but you, you are my friend my best friend"
"I didn't like her anyway"
"Neither did I"
"Why did you date her then?"
He picked up the magazine with him and the guys on the cover "She had great legs"
Claudia laughed as she pulled him onto the bed to sit next to her on her bed and she grabbed the magazine and placed it on the night stand "I am going to miss you so much my mom is sending me away to stay with my Aunt in Cali.........tomorrow".
Him surprised and a little shocked looked over at her "What?! Why?!"
"Me and her husband she said she can't take it anymore"
"Why didn't she send him away then" She shrugged her shoulders laughing a little "I'm going to miss you too, well here" he pulled a rose out his coat pocket and handed it to her "I got this for you"
"Thank You"
"Well I got to go, I'll see you later and..and stay away from those Cali guys"
"Yeah right" she laughed a little at him.
"And don't cut your hair"
"Okay"
They hugged each other as she watched him get up and walk towards the window in which he came in she said goodbye once more and climbed out the window onto the latter and began to climb down and she raced over to the window and looked down at him and she called out his name
"Alex" He jumped off the last step of the latter he had to climb and brushed his clothes off and looked up at her "What?"
"My flight leaves at 12:00pm you'll be there right...Please?!"
"Yeah I promise"
"Thank You"
He waved goodbye as he disappeared towards the back of the house in which he came and she happily went and got back in bed
She stood in the airport very disappointed and pissed at AJ as it was about time for her to board her flight and he wasn't there yet. After a while she saw him running towards her finally he stood before her out of breath and her hitting him in the stomach did not help.
"I am sorry I am late I got you this" she snatched the suede jewelry box out of his hand "Be careful okay" and in the spurt of the moment he quickly kissed her lips "Come back soon beautiful." She stood there shocked this had just happened she was speechless but finally popped out
"I-I-I I will"
"Good. I hope you like my gift."
"I will, thank you" They hugged each other tightly and he said "You're welcome"
"Goodbye Alex"
"Bye"
She pulled away and he watched his best friend walk off, he knew he was going to miss her a lot and he sadly turned and walked off.
She was so sad she opened the gift on the and it was a gold necklace with a gold heart shaped pendent she put it on and vowed to never take it off.
