Rebecca 2007 Songs The Hunt for TK (Weapon of My Choice)
(Shape of My Heart- Sting)  (Jan 2007)

He walks the streets as an average man.
And those he meets never suspect
He doesn't seem odd in the way that he speaks
Or by the way that he acts.
We fear him 'cause he is a Namebreaker - A sacred enemy of chance
The hidden foe amidst a sea of humanity. Him I met by dalliance.

Chorus:
I know that my claws are a weapon when in crinos
I know that our Klaives are swords and not toys
I know that teeth mean death for our foes
But that's not the weapon of my choice.

We passed threats throughout the summer
We played hide and seek in the fall
He was found in an alley with no eyes
And no arms to speak of at all.

And when I tell you that I took him in
You'd be right to say there was something wrong.
I'm not one to admit to a weakness instead I wrote this song.
To the Sept, I apologize -  I found out at a cost
My actions do affect us all in terrible ways
How easily the Veil can be crossed.

So the task was set before me
Hunt down the one that I had met
End his life and bring back his head
Then face the judgement of the Sept
Tracked him long days and longer nights
Seeking to right the wrong I had done
Came upon him in a wood across the state
Heard my approach, "So you are the one."

We sparred with words; pleasant conversation.
He questioned the justice of my task
In my song, would I be the hero or the villian
Even now I dare not ask.

Chorus:
My blade swung out in a perfect arc,
Aimed true, he had not a chance
But disappearing at the very last moment,
Left nothing but shirt and pants.
Fearing the worst, I sought him
Not knowing how far he'd flee.
Had he left this place with not way to follow?
No. He'd gone up a tree.

I played my game and went for a slapshot
A move I guess he didn't suspect
He fought back with only a word from a distance
His power I learned to respect.
His attack felt like being disembowelled
While my stone flew straight and true
Striking a blwo that for most would have dropped them
With him there was more to do.

We'd passed threats throughout the summer
Seems he'd not lied at what he could do
While in my care, we spoke at length quite often
But of this I never knew.

Chorus:
My next shot, well it flew wide -
Whether by chance or some other trick
Deflected off a tree, aimed right back at me. But still I held my stick.
He spoke, and the rending it continued. I doubled over from the pain
Like those who won't give up in our tales and our stories
Will alone let me stand again.

Chorus:
Now I am deemed a traitor. For the Veil and Caern that I did risk
The time comes night when judgement will reign
I'll finish my story brisk.
My Rage fuelled slap  - flew with power
Landing right between his eyes.
He collapsed, and I hobbled over.  And then did take my prize.

Chorus:

Hell is Being Raised
(Heaven Coming Down - Tea Party) (Jan 2007)

With nothing to do, I'd wasted away
Almost an exile
Befriended a Namebreaker
I'd gone astray
Whose fault?  Me, I'm thinking

Ah, there's nothing to say
"I messed up bad and Rended the Veil"
And it feels now
Just like Hell is being raised.

So strange was the day I found him mauled
His life no longer the same
A break from his past
Might make this work
Maybe just to hunt the Wyrm

Ah, there's nothing to say.
" I messed up bad and Risked the Caern"
And it feels now
Just like Hell is being raised
My judgement was weak
Now my pride has hit the ground

I surrender
To your will
Rest assured Fenris I'm ashamed.. ooh..

And it feels now
Just like Hell is being raised
My judgement was weak
Now my pride has hit the ground

These doubts, this fate
Took a path I wouldn't choose.
Stay strong. Keep faith.
There's a chance that it'll work through
Hold on..  Rebecca.
Hold on..  Rebecca
Feels like Hell is being raised
(repeat and fade)
My Spirit Will Rise Again
(The Eagle Will Rise Again - Alan Parson Project) (Jan 07)

Oh how I have easily fallen from grace
And soon another will take my place
For the chance to join your chase

As the end of my life are but moments away
I lower my head to pray
For the chance to see another day

Many words are spoken but there's nothing to say
They fall apon the ears of those
who've kept the Way
I've read between the lines, that lead towards the signs that lead me to you.
All that I ask you
Is know that I honour you and I'll obey
Teach me how to reach you,
I can't find my own way
Help me see the light
Help me do what's right...

As the sun turns slowly around the sky
Til the shadow of night is high
The traitor prepares to die.
And the days of her life are but grains of sand
As they fall from your open hand
And vanish upon the land.

Many words are spoken but there's nothing to say. They fall upon the ears of those who know the Way
To read between the lines, by following the signs that can lead to you.
Just know that I honour you and I obey
Teach me how to reach you I can't find my own way!
Help me see the light, help me do what's right!
And so with no warning no last goodbye
In the dawn of the the morning sky
..... (the end line is purposely left unsung)
