| Today was another good day. SOrry I am running out of ways to start my entries. It was a very long day. I woke up this mornng to this guy playing drums in the next room at 7:20. It was crazy. But then I got up and taught my english class which consisted of one person. But the pastor came and sat with us, and joined our two teacher to one person class. One of our students Maho gave us ingredients to make speghetti, so we had some really good speghetti, Sorry if I spelled that wrong. Then we slept for a really long time. THE time from 1 to 5 is all kind of a daze because we were all so tired. At 5 Andrew and Kari taught the childrens class while ME, Pa and Naoto watched our video that we have been making. It was good. At 7:30 I had my class, I had 9 people, so it was good. I tried to make it more entertaining. They have to read dialogue, so I made them pretend that they were in a library, and I was the librarian. SO they had to talk to their partner really quietly. THey also pretented that they were on a train, they had to talk while I bumped my way through them, like on a crowded train. I think that they had a little bit of fun. I am excited because the two junior high girls that are in my class are coming to the family camp that we are having next weekend. I think that it is going to be really fun. After class we ordered a pizza from pizza hut. In japan pizza is very expensive. THere is no two large pizzas from papa johns for ten dollars. WE payed 46 dollars about 5,000 yen,, for two large pizzas that were a little bigger than our mediums. IT was good, we got a garlic pizza and a hawaiin pizza. After that we randomly went to do fireworks again. THis time we went to the port, not to the beach, I was glad because I don:t like getting all sandy. These pictures are of us eating our pizza and then burning our fireworks after we did them. Oh, if you are wondering why we always do fireworks it is because Andrew loves them and they are not illegal in japan like they are in the unitec states. THey also have a much bigger variety here in japan. THey have roman candles that shoot out into the sky, they are fun.; Yesturday, I tried to smoke a roman candle. and I accidently inhaled, it was disgusting. Well, I have to go to bed, I am extremly tired, and I don:t feel like talking anymore! Have a good day, tomorrow should be great. It is the pastors birthday! Marti Oh, I almost forgot, does anybody know what nato is? It is a fermented bean theat looks like snot, that the japanese eat on their rice. I tried it today for the first time adn it is so disgusting. HEre is the pastor stiring it up for us! |
