Is Anybody in there!?
The lights are on, but
there's nobody home!
Okay, so what's the deal? How come there haven't been
any updates to this website in three years? Three
years?!? Has it been that long? My, where does the
time go?
Okay, first of all, yes, I'm
still alive. And no, I have not fallen head first into a
large, over-sized Venus fly trap. The truth of the
matter is that I've been busy with life stuff -- you know,
taking care of the family, paying the bills, dealing with the
passing of loved ones, putting food on the table, cooking the
food, eating the food, cleaning up the uneaten food, washing
the dishes the food was cooked in, birthdays, holidays,
in-a-daze, putting up Christmas lights, taking down Christmas
lights, fixing broken cars, wondering how broken cars might
fix themselves, etc., etc. You all know what I mean --
life happens when you're making plans for something else!
So, what's new is that I've
added a blog. A blog? Yes, a blog. No, not
another blog! Yes, another blog. But not any old,
ordinary, everyday, humdrum, common, conventional,
garden-variety, generic, mediocre, plain-Jane, plastic,
run-of-the-mill, second-rate, corn-fed, vanilla, white bread,
hackneyed, stereotypical blog. Oh no. If you think
that, then you're wrong. No sir. This blog
will be different. It will be a great blog, an
incredible blog, a most excellent blog. In fact, it will
probably become known as The World's Greatest Blog someday!
Oh, sure, others have said the same thing, but I think they're
mistaken. The new Simply Vision blog will be new,
exciting, fun, and magical, yes, magical -- in fact, reading
this new blog will make all of your dreams come true** !!!
