We've seen Lara in many different lights but none of them have ever really shown her as a bad person. We've seen her in love, angry, frail, passionate, sensitive.... The list could go on and on.
Tally- She didn't have to take her in, she didn't have to be there for her, but she did. She was there for Tally when she needed her most, she took her in, gave her a place to stay. She was there for her and now, just because Lara is happily in love with the same guy Tally was, she's using it against her. You can't hate someone for falling in love, I mean COME ON!
Anna- We've seen Anna and Lara on a number of occasions as really good friends, Lara's been there for her and she's been there for Lara, take in 'Past Present Future', when Lara was so worried about Patrick, Anna made sure she didn't lose faith, there were some really cute moments in that and some really cute quotes like "I've never felt like this before" "Like What?" "Like I'm one of those people we tell the bad news too" Anna made sure Lara didn't give up and when Paddy came out the look on Lara's face was classic then when she ran over to him and he spun her in his arms.... Awwww!
Dillon- Now that's what I call a friendship, I loved Lara and Dillon, they were such good mates, in 'A Special Day' we saw the frail side to Lara, her best mate was injured, she cared so much for him, she didn't want to lose him.
Lara in prison- The vulnerable side of Lara. We saw her in a position where there was not much she could do, we saw her deal with Amber etc, and that hug with Dillon when she came out just made me cry my lil eyes out. I think seeing her like that made a lot of people see her differently, well a lot of people I know did. A miscarriage of justice, we knew she was innocent but Melanie Collier kept to her statement longer than she had to. It wasn't fair on Lara, an innocent person, all she did was protect herself.
Lara and Simon- The angryish side to Lara. I think we see them arguing so much is because they are so similar. Both of them together would make a great team and she knows it. With Simon, I would say shows off her competitive side, each one wanting to out do the other one, which in a way is healthy for them both trying to achieve higher.
Lara and Harry- Lara didn't have to be there for him, she didn't have to be a friend to him over Beth's death, she didn't have to just because he took her in, she did because she wanted to. We saw a caring side to her.
Lara and Patrick- The passionate, in love, funny all round girl, she was happy with him okay their relationship wasn't the most romantic of all relationships but they loved each other and that's all that mattered. We saw her compassionate side through his death, Ok in 'Memories' she was angry but she was grieving in her own way.
All in all Lara IS the type of person you could trust, There is the fiery, independent exterior to fool us all but underneath is a heart of gold. She is kind, caring, sensitive woman who for me 'makes' Casualty. She isn't your stereotypical Dr, she's Lara.
