Eight red roses I will bring you:
One because you’re wild and free
One for all the dreams within you.
(Will you share but one with me?)
One because you are a faery
One because you’re of the fae
One for all your smiles so merry
One for warmth of heart each day
One for the hope, and one for the great
home we shall build: That makes eight
-
eight red roses that are yearning
to be graced with your smiles too.
For the ninth one and the burning
red wild lovely rose – is you.
