For document destruction you might want to consider using the services at The Meadows instead of trying to shred everything yourself which can be very time-consuming as well as frustrating if your shredder jams or breaks. The Meadows is a non-profit organization that employs individuals with disabilities. They charge a minimum of $10 for up to 71 pounds of paper. Each additional pound is 14 cents/pound. If you don't have that much paper, you can consider pooling with a friend and splitting the cost!
