During a deep covert mission the SSF Nimitz Discovered a mining complex where the Breen were extracting Venderite.
The Venderite was being extracted for use in a new Breen Shock troop Combat weapon.
The Breen Venderite Rifle or BVR-01 is a hand held plasma-rail gun based weapon which is very powerful and a high level threat to the federation.

Basic summary
This weapon is rather long and bulky in appearance but the design has made it fairly light weight in comparision to its capabilities.
It is not suitable as a short range weapon but its capabilities should not be underestimated.
At medium range it can unleash a devestating plasma ball.
At long range it is more affective but has a slower velocity.
It has a coil arrangement surrounding the main barrel which generates the field for the plasma.
These couild also prompt the impulse power that projects the plasma stream.
The barrel is venderite which is tappered and flanged to reduced the weight of the weapon.
The barrel resembles a plasma conduit and acts as the catalyst. The meticulouse machining of the barren provides a very high preformance heat generation housing for the plasma and also is designed to focus the charge.
