After this the Dome Zero racing and road project seem to have been cancelled but Dome have continued as a race car constructor, entering Le Mans in succesive years with various other cars. The company have also been succesfully involved in F3 and F3000. An F1 car was built and tested in the mid-90s but hopes of entering the grand prix world using the Mugen-Honda engine were thwarted by Honda's decision to join forces with Jordan and British American Racing. Dome still hope that they will enter F1 one day. The curious Zero-RL deserves to be remembered for it's ambition, for the impact it made on race fans and for the valiant attempt to sell the dream of the Dome supercar to the world.
