| What do you get when you cross horror classic Dracula with the good, the bad and the ugly?Something not unlike Rob Zombie's live show at montreal's the metropolis.Zombie, supporting his latest album "Educated Horses" was dressed in full cowboy garb, along with faded, torn jeans and a white cowboy hat. This bizarre horror show started with opener bullet for my valentine, an emo-metal band that got a pretty good crowd reaction. Then Lacuna coil followed, a gore metal band from Italy.Lead vocalist Christina Scabbia had full control of the capacity crowd, ordering the zombie fans to yell, clap their hands, and jump up and down. | ||||||||||||||||||

| they closed off their set with oddly enough,a rendidtion of a Depeche mode song, followed by a brand new song from their yet to be released album,"Karmakode".Then the lights went off, and when they reopened 20 minutes later, a giant movie screen graced the stage, with footage of wild horses running across fields played, as Rob Zombie's haunting instrumental "Sawdust in the blood" from the new album echoed through the metropolis.Just when I thaught things were getting calm and serene, the footage of runnung horses switched to bloody clips of horror classics as Rob Zombie began the set with "American Witch". | ||||||||||||||||||
