My experience in Sahaja Yoga

My name is Simona Radulescu and in a few words I will try to tell something about my experience in Sahaja Yoga.

Last year, in February I was invited to attend a Sahaja Yoga programme by a friend a mine. I was attracted by the peoples faces that were a shiny and joyful, contrasting with the ordinary people.

At first I didnt really know what was going on, as many people also didnt know but it seemed that an unseen thread was keeping me there every Saturday. I was feeling a deep desire within myself to know more about what was happening and I begun reading more and more about it.

I remember my first national special programme which was held in Oradea. I couldnt wait to find out more new things. I was feeling a great joy within, I felt as if I was going to burst out with joy. What really impressed me in Oradea with Sahaja Yogis was that everybody was calm, quite, nobody was in a rush, each one was very careful not to disturb the other. It was something unbelievable, as opposed to the stressful, agitated life I was used to. I enjoyed how everybody was taking care of the children. There all every child had about 7-8 mothers. Being my first program I spent my time watching the others how they were enjoying to see Mr. X or Y from different cities and their joy could bee felt by everybody.

Later on I realised, as I attended at my next programs what it means to enjoy seeing again the people with whom youve changed only a few words the previous times and whom it seemed as if I had known for ages.

The more we grow in Sahaja Yoga I notice that we change that we become more calm, kind and forgiving. At every national meeting I discover that Ive grow a little more, I discover myself and I wonder of what I see.

You cant describe many of your inner experiences, but if you look within yourself just for a while youll find them there.

Respectfully,
Simona
