since september of 1998 we have:

* attended annual protests of the "right to life" march in boston
* organized a speaker/film event about plan colombia and the pentagon's "war on drugs" with the int'l action center
* protested at the presidential inauguration in january, 2001
* held an anonymous girls art and music show
* begun working with a taskforce to organize a youth antiracism conference at simmons for march of 2002
* attended lesbian rights and reproductive freedom conferences
* helped to organize a student-only panel/discussion on how war and racism effect simmons students
* participated in the protest of the october 3rd presidential debate in boston, 2001 (pictures to the right)
* co-sponsored the one-woman play "don't speak my mother's name in vain" by renae mcneal
* put on a show featuring le tigre, the need and boys of now, plus other shows featuring women's and queer bands
* collected books for women prisoners
* protested the ftaa in quebec city, april 2001
* organized simmons students against the succeed program, which would have allowed men to earn degrees from simmons
* organized a film/discussion event about globalization and women with the women's int'l league for peace and freedom
* volunteered and organized in the simmons women's center
* held an event on modern-day slavery featuring an ex-slave from sudan and local abolitionists
* participated in protests against war and racism in washington, dc this past september 29th plus many local anti-war protests
* held an event on the health and human rights conditions of women in afghanistan since the war began
