What is The Sims™?
The Sims is a simulation game made by Maxis and EA Games. In this game you are in control of sims, their lives, and everything else you could think of. You get to decide whether or not they are rich, poor, smart, stupid, or just average joe's. You can make them look and act the way you want. You can even build their house and furnish it with whatever you want. You can get them jobs and help them move up the career latter or let them have no job. You can also just let them do their own thing and see what happens.

What is the object of the game?
The object of the game is to make a sim (or family), build them a house and furnish it, and get them a job and help them move up the career latter. You can't win at this game and it never ends, you can play it forever.

Is there more than just 1 (one) game?
No, there are 6 (six) expansion packs, plus a new one on the way. Each expansion pack comes with new objects, careers, skins, and more neighborhoods for your sims to enjoy.
The expansion packs are:

- Vacation
- Unleashed
- Superstar
- Makin' Magic
