Simford is a handsome guy which was born in a small town near
Guilin city,
Guangxi province, South China.
He encountered the famous
Apple II Personal Computer in the first year of his senior high school study, his life has been changed since then.
He began to learn the programming skills with the BASIC language and finally he fell in love with that brain storm game.
Simford finished his undergraduate study in
Department of Automation,
Tsinghua University and got a Bachelor Degree of Automatic Control.
He did learn a lot about Control Theory, System Theory and Information Theory, however, he gradually recognized that his favorite is the IT.
He joined the researching of Natural Language Processing in his graduate study and got a Master Degree of Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems.
He also got some rewards during that period for his excellent works on the project of "the Computer System for the Blind".
From that project, he learned that the Accessibility is very important to the software systems.
Simford jumped onto the bandwagon of Open Source in
Engineering & Research Institute,
Sun Microsystems(
China) after he graduated. He mainly focused on the researching of the
Accessibility of
Mozilla -- a web browser for the Linux/Unix
Desktop.
Simford has many hobbies including
Photography, playing Badminton and Tennis.
