Presenting the men of passion...
Sometime in 1976, several young male members of the various organizations of the San Isidro Parish in Taft Ave., Pasay City, decided to form a group which they called the San Isidro Male Choir. They believed that music is their passion and that it is the common language that binds them together.
It was ironical though, that all of them had musical talents and inclinations, but nobody among them could read notes. This handicap was more than compensated by their sharp ears. They were able to have the proper blending and harmony of their voices by merely listening to each other. Hence, they dub themselves as the Matutulis (ang tenga) Group or the Tulisan Group.
