The egerly awaited "platinum collection" of the film is going to be a real treat,its easily the better of other highly rated DVD's in its class.
It contains much the same stuff as the deluxe
CAV lette box,as well much more thanks to the capabilites of DVD,it not only has the original thearetical release,it also has the new version with the all new song "Morning report"
seameslly intergrated,as well as lots of extras.

This looks like the special edition of the CAV
laser disc edition.It contains all the same above,but with 5 signed portraits,and the special edition book and a nice looking gift box,and around $50,its not a bad deal. |

The DVD version of the film is a much better way to watch the film,it is presented in 1.66:1 aspect ratio,possibly meaning that Simba's Pride was to be realeased in the thearte,there is one or two extras such as Love Will Find
A Way performed by Lattimore and Headly. |

stacked with copies.Disney then pulled them from the shelves in 1997,probably to stir up things about Simba's Pride,more information about the special edition is avalible below. |

Although this may look like just a new cover,it could well be the new version with
"Morning Report"added,i obviously it has'nt the extras the DVD has,although there may
some extras at the end of the movie,but if your DVD equipped,there's hardly any reason to buy this version. |
