Krishna Wrist Mala
This beautiful wrist mala is made with warm cognac real baltic amber 4mm and 6mm beads, and rare black jet 4mm beads. It has been kept simple in its design to fully appreciate the beauty of the stones. It is accented with sterling silver beadcaps and beads. The sterling silver additions are meant to enhance the stones' natural beauty without detracting from them. Wearing amber gives you a warm feeling within. It chases away the blues. In this mala, see it as the rising sun against the deep black of the night sky, whose deep velvet throat is illumined by the warmth of the sun's rays. Touching amber is soothing to the nerves. Stones of the pale/bright yellow type are good "all-healers", since they represent the energy of the Sun. Amber is very good for opening the 3rd chakra, or solar plexus.
Jet is a soft, black gemstone, easily identified because it is very, very lightweight. Jet is composed of carbonized wood. The material was first found near the River Ganges and mentioned by Pliny in Ancient Greece. Jet has become exceedingly rare and hard to find. Wearing these beads can heighten the spiritual consciousness and balance the body's physical and mental states.
Silver has long been known as Goddess metal. Silver is ruled by the Moon a feminine planet, and therefore imparts a softened less assertive emotional energy to crystals & minerals that are mounted in it. Like the moon's energy, it has gentle, cool, smoothing effect. Thus it reduces inflammation, fever, nervous system stress. Excellent for mental, emotional, and physical releasing and cleansing. Works on mind/emotions to see overview, emotional balance, patience. Here it works very well with Jet and Amber.
This is a very beautiful and unique wrist mala. Allow the natural energies of this mala to become part of your own as you sit and chant the Holy Names. This wrist mala had a total of 27 stone beads. Full sized malas consist of 108 beads, but if you make four rounds on the wrist mala, it is the equivalent of one full round on a full sized mala. In my humble opinion, wrist malas are much easier to make use of, as their compact design means they can be worn and enjoyed for any purpose, used for healing the body and mind, and be used for chanting anywhere. It is approximately 7 - 7 1/2 inches in circumference, but it has been strung on stretch magic, so it will happily expand to fit any wrist.
