Information: Menthor was in a position where he could easily influence the High Council. Knowing of his connections, Edmund and Dimitri approached Menthor for his support. Upon hearing the brothers’ plan to restore the Floating Island to the motherland, Menthor knew that the brothers would be heroes. Menthor had his own plans and told Dimitri that he would denounce his plan. The Council believed Menthor and denied the petition of the brothers.
