| Concept The first person action in Metroid Prime 1 is back, with a vengence. The whole game has a darker feel to it (not to mention Dark Aether), and it's high suspense fun. Score: 5/5 Graphics Beautiful. The environments seem to be real, and the creatures look like they're real animals. Good thing they aren't! Score: 5/5 Sound Sound effects are excellent. Background music isn't too common, but what is there fantastic. Score: 5/5 Playability Control is perfect. The game can be really difficult, though this isn't a bad thing. Score: 5/5 Entertainment This game is great. The difficulty is a challenge that's a lot of fun to overcome. Multiplayer mode is pretty cool, too. Score: 5/5 Replay Value Moderately High. I can't really say whether it'd be fun to play through a second time, but it sure is fun (and long) the first time through! Score: 4/5 OVERALL: 9.7/10 |
