| Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life was a bit of a disappointment. It lacked a lot of the Harvest Moon charm and features (like some of the tools and real festivals. AWL's festivals were not quite good enough). Then Magical Melody came along, and everything is as it should be! This game really feels like a classic Harvest Moon game, but it has plenty of great new features as well! You can choose to play as a boy or a girl, and choose where you want your house to be! You can now purchase new property and farm almost anywhere you want! There are lots of new crops and you can raise cows, sheep, horses, and chickens. For the first time you can raise more than one horse, too! There are also many new marriage choices. There are 10 for both the boy and the girl! You can also fish, mine, cook, and forage in the mountains. But you can't forget that, even though there is so much to do, you still have to collect notes to save the Harvest Goddess from her statue fate. Any Harvest Moon fan will love this game! |
