I had started this painting in Albany a week prior to the start
of classes.
My professor was upset because I had done a painting without discussing it with
him first.
Nevertheless, it became my favorite painting I had done there.
This was going to be the beginning of a difficult year,
especially since the other students did not understand abstract art.
To this day, I am still puzzled as to why they accepted me into the program.
