Silverkyn's Tips

I haven't been able to write up all of my tips, but here are a couple that I took from my last site:

How to make petz downloadable from your website: First off, you will need to know the location and file name of your pet. Let's say that I have a pet named Fluffy, and I wanted to make her downloadable. I would first upload her into my web server. Then, I would use this code where I wanted to put her:

<A HREF="fluffy.pet">Download Fluffy</A>

This would put a link named 'Download Fluffy' on the site that you put this HTML code on. When your visitor clicks on this text link, they will download the fluffy.pet file. Be careful when you do this to make sure it refers exactly to where your pet's file resides - otherwise, they will get a 'file not found' error.

When breeding petz, I usually put down either the perfume or the love potion for them to play with. The only other things that I put where they can access are the water and food dishes. They like to play with the perfume/potion, spritzing themselves in the act. I leave it out until they start showing signs of falling in love, and then put it away, and wait. I am not sure if this makes a difference, but I have never had a problem breeding any petz.

Also when breeding petz, leave them alone - from my experience, they would much rather play with you than the other pet. Play with them a bit, leave them alone for a few minutes, play with them again, etc etc. Also, try placing your cursor in the middle of the top part of the screen when you're leaving them alone - I've noticed that most of the times my petz breed, they're in the middle of the screen...

Trying to help your catz become better mousers, but those mice just aren't cooperating by staying out long enough? Help out your catz by 'guarding' the mouse holes... keep waving your pointer hand where you don't want the mice to go. They really don't like getting near that pointer, and will try to avoid it, thus staying out longer.
