Mood: Overwhelmed

Today's my very first day in Victoria University where my lectures finally began. It was a good start, and I think I'm gonna like uni better than high school. I met a few people, like Louise, Maggie, and Sokly. (You know what, I kinda forgot what they look like, heheheheee...) Oh yea, once I went to a lecture at the wrong time!!! You see, I checked my timetable and thought that at 11 AM I gotta go to (the lecture room) MC103 for FCOM110 (NZ Commercial Environment). So yea, I got there. And the class was huge, I think there's about 300 people in it. But when they gave out the course outline, the heading of the paper was written "PSYC121" (Psychology). And I thought "What??!!! Isn't this supposed to be FCOM110??" so I checked my timetable again and yeah, I thought I was right. But then I looked at other people, and they didn't seem to be confused. I totally panicked, and felt as if I was lost in the middle of nowhere, so I looked at my timetable again. This time, I looked at it CAREFULLY. And when I stared at it, I found out that I was supposed to be in that room at 12 noon!! Not at 11 o'clock!! So I went out of the room immediately (lucky the class was not yet quiet, so nobody would laugh to see me going out of the room cos I wasn't in the right class). Anyway, I figured out that at that time I was supposed to be having QUAN102 (Statistics) in another lecture room. Gosh, I gotta be really careful next time!!

Mood: Freaked out

Omigosh!! Tomorrow's gonna be my first day in Uni!! Now I'm totally looking forward to it. Well, I used to be nervous about it, but I'm calm now because of the first-year students' orientation last week. Anyway, after Newlands my family and I went to see the 2004 Cuba Street Festival. It was quite crowded, but then we got kinda bored so we got home at around 4 PM.

Mood: Excited

I went out with Yuli 'n Mbak Yhaya in the afternoon. Then we were supposed to see Gothika in the evening, but it only showed at 5.15, 9.30, and 11.30 PM. And we got there around 6 PM, so we're just too late to see the 5.15 one. Sashya, Febri, Yessy, 'n Muti weren't allowed to see the 9.30 one, so we all just stayed there to eat. Then they went home, while my brother, Yani, and I waited for the other guys to show up to see the movie at 9.30 PM. Hehe, it was totally late, and we got home past midnight. And Yani's having a sleepover at my house this weekend. Anyway, Gothika's really creepy 'n freaky!! (At least, to me it is, cos I was so focused while watching the movie) It's way more frightening than The Ring (actually I think The Ring's kinda boring, you know).

Mood: Sad

Good-bye Fluffy!! T_T You see, Sammy 'n Mila 'n Mas Dwi (Fluffy's real ownerz) took Fluffy back from its "temporary" home at around 3 PM today. How sad, no more cat to hug, pat, tease, pick on, 'n play with. 'N you know what's sadder, my mom 'n bro didn't have the chance to say bye-bye to Fluffy. Cos Fluffy's already gone before they got home. Oh yeah, I was lucky to have the chance to play with Fluff-Fluff for the last time in my house ('n I got the last scratch from him too.. hee hee). Oh well, Good-bye Fluffyyyyyyyy..... *_*

Mood: Lazyish

I spent the whole afternoon watching Ranma1/2 on the computer. Then around 3 o'clock I straightened my hair cos it was a mess, hehehee.. And after that I had this terrible stupid headache just before I was gonna head off for another dance practice!! Hmmm.. in less that 2 weeks I'll be starting my first year in college. I used to be totally excited that I got in to Victoria University (without having to go to Year 13), but now I'm freaked out too you know!! Cos this is gonna be a whole new thing for me, a new beginning, a different direction, bla bla bla (ohhh whatever!!!) Aaaarrgghh college is creepin' me out now!! But at this moment I'd still prefer college to high school (having to go to 7th form/Year 13/13th grade and experiencing the NCEA Level 3 hysteria, hahaha!!!) Hehe, I can't imagine myself going to Year 13 and doing NCEA Level 3 English, especially that they'll be doing some Shakespeare stuff, ohhhh noooo!! Hehe, something like "Romeo? Ohhh Romeo.. wherefore art thou Romeo??" Naaahh just joking, it'll be way harder than that. Oh well, lucky I'm out, out, out of Onslow!! =D

Mood: Mad

In the morning, I didn't feel like going to Newlands, but I got the urge that I should go, so I did. I drove to Newlands today, yay!! And a few unusual things happened (like last Sunday. Hmmm could it be..?? Oh I dunno, guess I'll never ever know). Anyway, I spent most of the time there chattering and giggling with my girl friends (Yuli 'n Yani) instead of playing badminton or something. Oh yeah, I also got the 15 Ranma1/2 CDs from Bobby, and this time he's got the CD case, heheheee... In the evening we girls had a dance practice at the embassy. Then at 7.30 PM we turned on the TV to see NZ Idol, but the TV sucked cos the sound didn't come out most of the time while the show was running!! But when the ads showed up, the sound came out too!! Uuuuurrrgghhh!!

Mood: Excited but lazy in the evening

It's Valentine's Day!! But who cares? Cos I got nobody to celebrate it with). Anyway, I was completely in the mood of driving today. At first I went driving from my house to Churton Park. Then later in the afternoon I drove to Makara Beach with my family cos we never went there before. And it was quite far; the streets were somewhat narrow and curvy too, which was a challenge. But I made two cars follow up behind me really closely, cos maybe I went too slow while they wanted to drive fast. I gotta be careful, you know!! So I didn't care about them. After a while I let them pass, which was a relief to me too. Anyway, when we got to Makara Beach, I thought it was a nice and clean beach, like the one in Eastbourne, or at least like Oriental Bay. But noooooo, I was totally wrong, cos it was completely the opposite to what I thought. It was totally windy, with a strong salty aroma of the sea water (the smell was yucky actually, it smelt more like fish). The wave was huge too!! But we left immediately after a few minutes, because the weather was just 'bad' and we didn't like the atmosphere of the beach. It's not like a dreamy beach you'd expected, it's more like an 'unfriendly' beach, with the strong smelly wind, dirty sea water, and the rocky surroundings.

Mood: Lazyish

I thought today was going to be a totally boring day, so I went online in the morning. But then a while after that, my mom took me to Porirua. Then we went to Onslow to pick up my brother, but I didn't see my friends there. At around 5 o'clock, I went to the Embassy to practice a new dance. Then, I went home and watched the Grammy Awards!! Hehe, I never thought I'd reach home the same time as Christina began her performance (singing Beautiful). Lucky me!! ^^

Mood: Joyful

I didn't feel like staying at home today, so I asked Yuli to go with me to town. We went window-shopping (like usual), and after she left I went to eat a 1-foot long Subway, but took half of it as a takeaway. Then I went to the city library to return some books and borrow some more. I'm soooo into reading fictions these days. There's this book called "Fearless" by Francine Pascal and I really like it. When I first borrowed it, it wasn't until the last page that I realized that the book was divided into a series, and the one that I first borrowed was Fearless #2: Sam. Today I found out in the library that there's a whole lot of it, like Fearless #7, Fearless #27 and so on. And luckily I found the 3rd series that I wanted, and I also tried to find the 1st one but I guess it was issued out already. Oh, anyway, after that I went to the Indo Embassy so that I can go home with my dad. But we stayed there until 9 PM, cuz my dad was busy with some stuffs so I just continued reading Fearless #3: Run 'til I was halfway through the book. ^_^

Wed, 11 February

Mood: Determined

I played on the comp from around noon till 8 pm!! I spent hours 'n hours trying to make this layout from scratch. And I also spent hours hesitating which picture I should use, which fonts, what color, etc. And then, at about 8 my mom came up to me and said "Dessy! You've been on the computer since this afternoon before your brother even came home!" and I thought 'Oops...' Hehee, so I turned off the comp directly and went to my room to finish reading the novel I got from the library. And then, zzZZzzZz....
