The finishing touches

The cabinets are finished and assembled, the interior paneling is installed, the systems and appliances are tested, the bathroom is assembled, the carpet is installed, and a lot more fitting/assembling/cleaning/installing has been done.  I spent way too much time sewing lined valances and lined pinch pleated drapes for the windows, and way too much time sewing new covers for the cushions---next time I may leave this part to the professionals.  Then again, maybe not!

The latest project was to build a custom trailer to haul the camper----many thanks to Mark M. for his contribution of time/talent/ideas/suggestions.  Without his urging and help, the trailer part of this undertaking would have been a major snag instead of a very minor bump.  The camper will be joined with the trailer soon for a trial run and an overnight camping trip----somewhere very close to home.  The trailer is considered a 'work in progress' as future plans call for some refinement in the areas of aesthetics and utility.
