Adoptable Characters
 
Please take a look at our list of characters available for adoption. There are several, each of differing personality, and I'm sure you can find one to suit you. It may be love at first sight! I would like to impress upon you that you may look through the list of adoptables, pick one that is closest to something you can work with, and then you yourself can adjust that elf to something more specific to yourself. Nor do you have to rigidly adhere to how they were played previously, as their existing CISs are not completely set in stone. In the event that you find a character you are interested in adopting, please fill out our joining form. As soon as I receive the form, if approved, I will email you and send an invitation to join the SMH Yahoo Group. Thank you!

Heartstring is the adult son of Clayshaper and Eclipse, brother of Fleetfawn, and he is Recognized to Cloverwing. The couple recently had their cub near the end of last New Green, and while the cub is healthy, Cloverwing has grown weaker since the birth. It is greatly feared that she has the wasting sickness, and with no healer in the tribe, it seems as though the new mother's fate may be sealed.
Heartstring is the tribe's songshaper, and he is also an accomplished hunter. He has a good sense of humor and boundless patience, which has also landed him the role of "official cubwatcher". Currently, he is away from the main Holt, as he is tending the lifebearers and cubs who have temporarily fled the meadow holt for safer ground, due to the kinkiller menace.
Longtrail is the adult son of Snowthorn and Shortworded, twin brother of Clayshaper, Recognized of Summerveil (nope, not life/lovemated in anyway), and devoted father of Chance. He is more Hunt-like than his placid twin, but he and his brother share a close bond. Longtrail has a good heart and hates to see suffering and will try to do his part to end it. Currently, he is away from the main Holt, as he is tending the lifebearers and cubs who have temporarily fled the meadow holt for safer ground, due to the kinkiller menace.
Raven is the adopted son of Kathen. He loves to rat out the older cubs if they won't let him tag along, plays small pranks, and is - in general - a sweet and loving cub. Raven's best friend is Chance, and they can often be found together, doing all the things little boys do. Currently, he is away from the main Holt, as he is among the lifebearers and cubs who have temporarily fled the meadow holt for safer ground, due to the kinkiller menace.
Twilight is the mother of Sprite. She is a quiet elf with an immense amount of patience, learned the hard way. If you wanted to hunt, and successfully, you learned to move slow and take as much time as you needed...and be prepared to move swiftly at the end. She’s found that the same philosophy works well in life. She’s a watcher and a waiter and, when the time is right, a doer. While she’s as willing and able as most to let her emotions be known, she doesn’t allow them to affect her decisions. She's patient, soothing, calm, unrelenting, and about as stubborn as the mountain who refuses to let a squirrel move it.
Winterdream is the adult daughter of Summerveil and Deerwise (deceased) and sister of Chance. After her mother was exiled last turn, the elfess seemed to loose her sense of self. Her identity had been dictated to her for so long by Summerveil, that now Winterdream isn't quite sure who she is. The beautiful elf-woman can be very much like her chilly namesake: cold and distant, but deep within her heart is warmth and kindness. She is the tribe's weaver and is also an accomplished huntress. She has a dry sense of humor and usually shuns the company of males, except her brother. **This character requires an audition, as she is very special to me, and I want to make sure and get the right person for her.**
