Under Construction!!!

Why was Silver Meadows Holt created?

Silver Meadows Holt was created when I joined a holt owned by two women who were, in my opinion, tyrannical fascist holt leaders. I had created a character within their own guidelines, and they proceeded to destroy him. He was a normal character and not some super-elf with all magics known to Abode. Refusing to allow them to pick apart my beloved character like a hoard of vultures, I left the group and created a place where my character and others' characters could be free from the overly scrutinizing eyes of certain HMs.

Why must new members adopt a character first?

I prefer all new members to adopt a character first for several reasons. It takes awhile to break into a new RPG and get into character for most people, and with a pre-established character, it makes things much more simple. You don't have to go around explaining who you are and every other detail about your character. Things are predefined, and you don't have to take the time to figure it out. With an established charrie, you can ask a question, and someone will know the answer. I'll expound upon this more at a later date.

Also, at the end of the probation period, new members are free to create a new character. If the member no longer wants the original adoptable character, he/she can be put back up for adoption at this time as well.

How does Holt participation add up?

I don't really have a system for participation, but members are always free to create stories and art to their heart's content. I do require that all of my members be active in the RPG.

What happens if I become inactive?

If you become inactive, you run a very strong risk of losing your membership and your character(s). I will send a series of emails to the member in question, over a period of a month or two. If I get a reply, you will be reinstated and you maintain your character(s). If I receive no reply, I will remove you from the group and place your character(s) up for adoption (provided the charrie is adoptable).
