Proverbs 31 10 Who can find a virtuous woman? For her worth is far above rubies. 25Strength and honor are her clothing; She shall rejoice in time to come. 26She opens her mouth with wisdom, And on her tongue is the law of kindness. 27She watches over the ways of her household, And does not eat the bread of idleness. 28Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her: 29"Many daughters have done well, But you excel them all." 30Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised. |

One woman show
Sometimes...I pear into my life and wonder how so much could change so quickly...This is when I feel like a stranger in my skin...I pear at an unrecognizable face and push away the tears that threaten to pour out onto the crinkled pages...Of when, where, howMy heart can change in an instant but still, my mind leaves the imprints of memoriesAnd these thoughts that creep into my imagination feel tangible, as if I never left that moment in timeThat instant where everything felt perfect, and the cycle stood stillThen I find myself at the beginning again, trying to make sense of this unfamiliar performanceThis script that lies before meThe story of my life |

Phenomenal Women by Maya Angelou
Pretty women wonder where my secret lies. I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size But when I start to tell them, They think I'm telling lies. I say, It's in the reach of my arms The span of my hips, The stride of my step, The curl of my lips. I'm a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me.
I walk into a room Just as cool as you please, And to a man, The fellows stand or Fall down on their knees. Then they swarm around me, A hive of honey bees. I say, It's the fire in my eyes, And the flash of my teeth, The swing in my waist, And the joy in my feet. I'm a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me.
Men themselves have wondered What they see in me. They try so much But they can't touch My inner mystery. When I try to show them They say they still can't see. I say, It's the arch of my back, The sun of my smile, The ride of my breasts, The grace of my style. I'm a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me.
Now you understand Just why my head's not bowed. I don't shout or jump about Or have to talk real loud. When you see me passing It ought to make you proud. I say, It's in the click of my heels, The bend of my hair, the palm of my hand, The need of my care. 'Cause I'm a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me. |

Ladies in Waiting
Ladies in waiting, Keeping our lights burning- The oil grows low, But the flame keeps turning
Chimes and incense line the door, Anticipating the call- Our lovers strong voice, Breaking the silent lull
Ladies in waiting, Keeping our lights burning- The oil grows low, But the flame keeps turning
Like honey, sweet perfume, That covers our soft skin- Longs to be taken, Aches to be breathed in
Ladies in waiting, Keeping our lights burning- The oil grows low, But the flame keeps turning
We lie on satin sheets, Staring at the flames light- Knowing our hearts true love, Is never far from Your sight
Ladies in waiting, Keeping our lights burning- The oil grows low, But the flame keeps turning
Keep him in Your arms, Till the day we may unite- And this gift that we bring, May be his one delight
Ladies in waiting, Keeping our lights burning- The oil grows low, But the flame keeps turning |

A Woman's Touch
A simple touch means nothing to man, but the world to a woman
She bases his affection as an expression of his devotion
Perhaps she sees past the outward motion and further to the senses within her
A bursting of uncontrollable passion that seeps out of the hands and into a gesture
An embrace, a kiss, a gentle touch, a sweet caress
Far beyond the youthful mind and reaching into the need that each woman possesses
An innate desire to love and be loved in return
This is what drives them to the brink of insanity, when their hearts are broken
When every bit of emotion is displayed in tearful agony, only to fall again
To fall in love and find the pain worth every moment in his arms
Because this is the place of true bliss
The place where she finds her beauty locked inside sacrificial romance
In one touch |

A Womans Flight
I found my freedom, so let me fly Here in the dawn of my purple sky
I can see you below where I left you in awe I refuse to stand where you watched me fall
Not another tear will slip down my cheek For you to witness my hope deplete
I am woman, hear me roar I will not, cannot lose my core
I have a dream that pushes me ahead A relentless destiny written in red
My heart is made of flesh, but my spirit made of stone Never underestimate the strength I have shown.
Im a virtuous lady who will never turn back With force and determination, overcoming my past. |
