Now don't get freaked out. All that means is that I'm here to tell you to read The Nice Guy Comic! I'm telling everyone I can about how funny The Nice Guy is. But don't just take my word for it, check it out right now! |

The plot of Nice Guy will probably be very familiar to many of us, regardless of gender. It's about Jeff who's a nice guy. He's the kind of guy that women find non-threatening, often turn to for advice and consider a GREAT friend, but nothing beyond that. Never boyfriend material. Jeff loves this girl Becky, but she loves all the wrong guys - those guys who obviously aren't healthy for her. Becky always turns to Jeff for advice, usually on how to make up with current boyfriend. Jeff has two roommates - Peg and Frank. Peg is a woman-magnet. He doesn't try, it just happens to him. He's so easy-going that he doesn't really mind one way or another, just as long as he has fun. Frank is the exact opposite - sarcastic and bitter, Frank's always piss-off about something. You can find out more about them on the Nice Guy's Character page as well as the Comic page where you can read the on-line strips. The Nice Guy website is updated on the 1st and 15th of every month with new strips and other fun stuff. The Nice Guy Pilot The very first printed Nice Guy comic is out! I wrote a review of it and you can buy it from their website, from some comic book stores in Sacramento, CA or at San Diego Comic Con. After SDCC is over, they'll be going to some of the independent distributors for national distribution. |

Commissioned art The artist of The Nice Guy Comic, Tim Watts, was kind enough to do some original art for me.
This was a Christmas gift for my boyfriend (now fiancé) Will. A very sappy Christmas gift. Those who have a significant other will probably find this romantic. Those who are single will probably find this disgustingly sweet. To make it short, we have pet names for each other. I'm Bunny. He's Teddy Bear. I'm also a Princess. He's a Cowboy. He also plays guitar. And he's my Nice Guy! Putting all those elements together, you get the really sappy and romantic picture above. Tim's the one who came up with the idea of the balcony. Thanks Tim! One song that Will likes is "Wrapped Up In You" by Garth Brooks. I was hoping that some of the lyrics could get written onto the art, but it didn't work out. So when I gave the art to Will, I put it in a frame with a piece of paper with the chorus of the song on it. That way it looks like the teddy bear is singing. Before I gave it to him though, I scanned it in and digitally added the lyrics - as you can see below.
