About our Cat Whitey

Meet cat Whitey! My husband Richard was already in Michigan and lived in a motel, while I was still in upstate NY waiting for him to find us a house. The people next door to Richard split town and had left their cat (Whitey) in the room all by herself. Richard had been playing with her through the windows, and the motel owner finally told him to take the cat, since the owners were obviously not coming back for her.

After quite a while of getting used to each other, Whitey now gets along just fine with our cat Nikita, but still is a bit reserved with our dog Candy.
