Teddy Bears
I made these bears and also designed and made their gowns. I especially enjoy making bride bears. This one is the first of many bride bearsclick. Her gown took me days to design. I changed my design many times until I settled on the one I wanted. I sewed lace pieces to make a design on the bodice. I also sewed pearls on the lace of the bodice. I made the bouquet out of silk flowers. I put the same silk flowers on the headpiece. Each bear and outfit takes me approximately a week to complete.
This bear I made for an auction. It was for a non-profit organization. I considered it a labor of love.click
Western movies are my favorite. I made this bear with the dance hall girls of the western movies in mind.click
Prom Queen is her name.Click Her gown is a light pink satin, the neckline is trimed with pearls. Her skirt is held out with a whale bone hoop. She is wearing a silk flower corsage and she has silk flowers on her head.
I made this bear for The Teddy Bear Tea Party. Alicia BearClick is made of real fur.
