Her death on 12-12-05 has forever touched my broken heart. She was truly one of a kind and is still sorely missed to this day. Once a grey wolf touches your heart and soul like that, you are forever changed as a human being, looking into a wolf's eyes. Their heart and soul becomes your heart and soul.

When my grey wolf "Yukon" died, a friend of mind saw how devastated and heartbroken I was and sent me this via email. I somehow felt some kind of peace in my heart after reading this. When I start thinking about her and get depressed, I read this often and somehow it helps me thru the hard times. So I am passing this on to you, after loosing "Savage" the way you did. As one wolf owner to another and my friend, I truly hope this brings some comfort to your life, as it has for me.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who have been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

I just took three codes out of this letter,I have original,to prove she was in on this too~Hi! I read that you're online usually so I figured emailing you would be much more efficient. I was looking in the paper because we've been searching for a long while for a puppy good for us (my boyfriend and I). It would mostly be for my companionship. I am fairly active when I can be so we decided a puppy would be best. We already have an older wolf hybrid in the home, it is our housemate's dog. She's about 10, and half chow. We rescued her from being taken to the pound after her owner abandoned her at his girlfriends house and she didn't want her. I adore wolves and the hybrids. My first dog was a red and shep mix, she was very sweet and I adored her. I have a predisposition towards these canines. They're sweet and loyal. I suppose I should stop rambling and get to the point of what I'd like to say. How much are you asking for pups? Even if I'd have to wait til some are older I wouldn't mind. I want to pick a good pup that gets along with me as much as I like it. Also! I'd love to put a link in your page on my myspace and other website I wanted to ask first. I know a lot of people that have been looking for wolf hybrids because of their good dispositions, and I plan on telling them about your place. As I said I can be fairly active and this is me hyper, I would love to hear back from you and hope all is well. -Red

I went through and read a lot of your page and I had glimpsed their page but I didn't like it because they have a lot of "wolfdogs" as he puts it, in little cages and they look unhappy. My boyfriend was encouraging me to check out both sites and I did just to say so, but if they're going to cause such problems for a place trying to save and protect animals than I'm sure I don't want anything to do with them. His reply email was very copy and paste and he seemed rather full of himself, over thinking about the animals. It was signed Eddie so I put little clues together and if that's the man I don't want a thing to fund his pockets. I'm kind of excited about possibly getting one of your pups in the future, hence why I'm being kind of hyperactive and sending you another email. so yeah... okay I'll stop rambling now.

I'm ill so I wouldn't want to come around and possibly get you, your kids or the animals sick. Otherwise I'd beg my friend to take me out there. I read all that about them shooting the poor things. It's awful. I even posted the link on my myspace page. www.myspace.com/redria and sent out a bulletin telling everyone to check it out. And posted in it your story about the two dears that got poisoned by antifreeze in the bulletin. I usually do TNR for cats, and I've had to report a lot of people for poisoning the strays. I even had someone shoot at me once because I injured their dog protecting a cat and my little brother. I didn't want to hurt it but a rottie vs a 7 year old and a kitten? Not fair. And he shouldn't have sicked it on them. I use to live in Lakeland so I remember the big stink they made about wolf hybrids there. My photographer said he heard they turned on you and I told him that wasn't true. That the only ones I've ever seen be aggressive are frightened hurt or half sheppard. No one really pays attention to the fact that sheppards have a high aggression rate which is why they're used in police work to chase down people. Cops there sound about as bad as the ones in Lakeland also. They hassled me a whole lot when I tried to report a guy, and they ended up being mean to me and forcing me to sign a paper to drop charges, only telling me afterwards that he'd scared the lady investigator so badly that she had him baker acted. I was furious. I rarely go there anymore to visit my family because I'm scared of when I run into him or his friends. I like animals, and despite trying to be really friendly with people generally I'm pretty uncomfortable with most of them. I'm glad that I'm not irritating you. Generally in person I'm pretty quiet except for my rare energetic moments. But it's a bit easier to be energetic when you're typing. I went through and read a whole lot on your site. It was a little hard to find some links but all worth it. If you ever need help and you meet and trust me I'd love to help out sometime. Well I'm a bit disoriented, so I'm going to go lay down. I hope the day was eventful and good
