MultiCast Entertaiment is a young Jamaican music production company operated by and for young musical artists. The company creates computer-based musical beats blending hip hop and dance hall rhythms, developing in the process unique musical concepts and ideas.

MultiCast was born from the musical friendships of teenagers DJ Eric “ScrumDilly” Dixon and singer ‘Dami D’ Watson. They united around the computers of technology whiz kid Makonnen Blake Hannah, who acts as digital music producer to create, play and record their original compositions. Several new artists have joined MultiCast, including ‘Raw Raw’,"Wasp", "FreeDem" , Gregory “Plumzell’ Plummer and J-American rapper, ‘Brooklyn’ Also They have recuited upcoming artists such as 'Aidonia' And RapJ "Black Angel".

Each of MultiCast Entertainment’s multi-talented young artists brings an individual style of song concept and performance to the mix; they then work together to inspire each other and to cross-fertilize their musical output through the incorporation of all forms of audio-visual technology.

The musical youths say they are motivated by their dedication to improving and uplifting the standard of Jamaican reggae music. Fusing contemporary dance hall beats with US-influenced hip hop rhythms, positive lyrics and knowledge of what appeals to youth their age, MultiCast Entertainment brings a fresh flava to the musical scene.

The first release from this young company is the single “NO MORE WAR’ written and sung by MultiCast lead singer Dami D, a young performer who has been poised in the wings of stardom for the past two years. With an original beat and melody created by Blake Hannah and Mahlon Moving, the song is a positive anthem whose upfull lyrics are certain are already becoming a national favourite,.

After its creation as a digitally produced song, ‘No More War’, the song had its first public performance in August at the National Youth Rally against Crime & Violence organized by the Ministry of National Security & Justice, where more than 2000 youth gave ‘Dami D’ a standing ovation. The song has also been enjoying regular airplay on Elise Kelly’s daily IRIE-FM show.

Other upcoming releases from the company are two singles “Judgement Day” featuring: 'Dami D', 'Wasp' and 'Raw Raw” 'It's All Up 2 U' With Raw Raw and US Based Singer "Philly" and “Sufferation” - a song of the times by Cutty Ranks and ‘Brooklyn’.

MultiCast Entertainment pays attention to both the business as well as the creative sides of their productions. “We plan to do it right,” says business manager and CEO Makonnen Blake Hannah. MultiCast producers and artists participated in the UNESCO/CME Artists in Development Workshop held in Jamaica in 2003, and the company has compiled an album of poetry on rhythms, as well as a compilation of several DJs and singers. MultiCast also produces music videos, digital documentaries and recently produced an anti-piracy Public Service Announcement (PSA) featuring Grammy-winning Jamaican artist Sean Paul, for the Recording Industry Association of Jamaica, of which the company is a member. Post-production of their digital music is done at Steelie & Clevie's STUDIO 2000 in New Kingston.

With hard work and ambition, MultiCast Entertainment hopes to make a positive impact on the Jamaican and international music scenes.
