Silhouettes Musical Theatre presents 'The Likes of Us' at Grimsby Central Hall, Duncombe St A newly released musical by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber. The Likes of Us is the story of the life of Dr Thomas Barnardo, whose crusade to rescue children living on the streets became world-renowned. Set in Victorian London, The Likes of Us is full of great melodies and rousing choruses, from the raucous and amusing Cockney songs to the gentler love songs and the comical Auctioneers song, �Going, Going, Gone�. There are songs here that will appeal to all tastes and are cleverly linked together by a narrator.

With colourful costumes and a wonderful score by Rodgers and Hammerstein, The King and I is the moving story of Anna Leonowens who travels to Bangkok to become governess to the children of the King of Siam. The conflict between Eastern and Western cultures inspired this well-loved classic which is always a firm favourite and includes many memorable songs such as, "I Whistle A Happy Tune", "Hello Young Lovers", "Getting To Know You", "Something Wonderful" and "Shall We Dance?"
