Chapter 25

One day well into September, Harry, Ron, Christina, and Liz were sitting in the library doing homework when Ginny Weasley ran up to Harry, "Harry you have to come to the Quidditch Field, right now!"
Ron looked at Harry, "How can their be Quidditch practice now? There's no captain."
Harry shrugged his shoulders. He went upstairs and got his Firebolt and he commenced trudging down to the Quidditch Field. Upon entering, a mirage of people picked him up. He looked around and saw a big party set up and a big multi-colored banner saying
Congrats Harry Potter! New Gryffindor Quidditch Captain!
Harry looked around and smiled. The crowd put him down on the ground and he looked around at his team mates.
Ginny came up to Harry, "Um, Harry, not to ruin your fun but this party is also to pick a new chaser, keeper, and seeker but I'm sure you want to keep that position."
Harry nodded as he walked into the middle of the field. He hopped onto his broom and took off. The feeling was great. Harry felt the air whip through his hair.He flew around the stadium for a while then he touched back down onto the grass as the students who came to try-out walked up.
Ginny stood next to Harry, "I think we should ask who's trying out for keeper first."
Harry nodded, "Alright,um...Who's here to try out for keeper?"
Only three hands went in the air. Harry told everyone else to go sit in the stands. The three people stood in front of Harry, two third years Harry didn't know, a boy and a girl and Christina.
Harry gasped, "You never told me you knew how to play!"
Christina laughed, "You never asked me."
Harry looked at her strangely, "Did you know I was being made captain?"
Christina nodded, "Yeah, Ginny told everyone in Gryffindor about the try-outs and about your party but didn't post it so that it would be a surprise."
"Are we going to have try-outs or what?", said the other girl.
Harry stopped looking at Christina, "Yeah ok, who wants to go first."
The taller of the two third years raised his hand. Harry went to get the trunk containing the Quidditch balls out of the Quidditch shed. He dragged out the trunk and got out the Quaffle. Harry tried out the male third year then the female third year then Christina. She flew exceptionally. She blocked every throw. She touched down, gave Harry a smile, and walked back up to the school after grabbing a sandwich from the snack table. Harry watched the try outs of the chasers, one of which was Mary Higbee. Harry was amazed at how good Mary was.
That night Harry went back up to the school for dinner. Hermione ran over to Harry with the Daily Prophet in hand, "Harry! All the prisoners in Azkaban have escaped and there aren't any dementors left!"
Harry ripped the paper out of her hands,

Repeat of Sirius Black
Just three years ago, Sirius Black escaped Azkaban to the amazement of the wizarding community. Now every single prisoner of Azkaban has escaped. Fudge made a comment in the presence of the ministry about the lacking of Dementors in Azkaban. The only thing Fudge could say was, "Um...they're gone?" The Ministry's outrage with Fudge was...

Harry's eyes opened wide in horror. He was out-numbered. They were going to find him. He was doomed. Christina ran up behind Harry and read the paper. Her eyes opened wide as she read the rest of the article. Then, she slowly gave the paper back to Hermione and pulled Harry's arm. She lead him all the way upstairs to the Gryffindor common room with Hermione and Liz behind them. Christina sat Harry down as he stared wide eyed into space thinking about his doom.
"Harry, now there is nothing you can do about this. You're safe as long you are in Hogwarts. Now,  there are certain precautions that I want you to follow. I want you to listen to me not just as a protector but as your friend. You have to ask Professor Snape to help you practice Occlumency. You must follow his instructions to the letter!  I expect you to practice it at night also. I want you to watch out for yourself and until I can think of a better plan, Hogsmeade is out of the question."
Harry was still shocked, "I'm a dead man. I was a dead man before but now I'm definately dead." , thought Harry.
Christina shook him, "Harry, Harry, pay attention to me!"
Harry nodded, "I'm listening."
Hermione tapped Christina on the shoulder, "Did Harry tell you about the D.A?"
Christina looked up at her, "The Defense class Harry taught last year?"
Hermione nodded, "I think we should try it again this year, even if we do have a defense class."
Christina stared off into space, "Hmmmm...I don't like to do things without permission from Professor Dumbledore so I will give you my answer after I speak to him."
Christina looked back at Harry who had his hand over his scar.
"Harry,are you alright?", asked Christina.
Harry shook his head, "He's happy about this. His followers have come to him again. There are so few now."
Harry didn't know where the words came from but they escaped his mouth either way.
Christina stroked his cheek, "Don't worry. Just follow the Order's instructions and you will be fine but I assure you, you will get your revenge!"
