Harry and his daughter Cheryl, decided to go on vacation to Silent Hill. While Harry was making his way towards Silent Hill with his car, Cheryl was sleeping on the passenger seat.
Suddenly a shadow appeared in front of the car, making Harry to turn the wheel in panic. The car slides off the road and into a gully. Harry passes out for a brief moment and when he awakes he realizes that Cheryl is missing.
With the car being racked, Harry makes his way to Silent Hill on foot, looking for his daughter.
