You haven't lived until you have tasted a TX peach, and a great place to try one is in the TX Hill Country around Stonewall. There are several fruit stands and even a Peach Jamboree the third weekend in June. Also nearby is the Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and Historic Site. Here you can tour the LBJ Ranch, experience a living history farm, and see some of the abundant wildlife of the Hill Country, highlighted by enclosures containing buffalo, longhorn, and white-tailed deer. The park is part of the Pedernales Loop described on the Heart Of Texas Wildlife Trail - East map. So buy some peaches and enjoy them while looking for this microbox.
NOTE: Always take adequate precautions (such as prodding with a stick and/or wearing gloves) before reaching into dark crevasses and holes in the wild. Before you set out read the waiver of responsibility and disclaimer.
