Institutional Objectives

In the light of its mission and by means of balanced elementary curriculum, Saint Ignatius Learning Center aims to produce graduates:

-who possess a growing faith in Christ after having gradually known and experienced to some extent God’s love for them and therefore, are beginning to respond to His great love. This response is manifested in a growing awareness of the dignity of their personhood or concern for others of loving and of serving other people.
-who possess the necessary fundamental skills and knowledge in preparation for High School. This is manifested by their mastery of the basic skills especially on the three R’s (Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic) and, to some extent, the skills to think critically, to analyze situations, to synthesize thoughts and express them adequately.
-who possess love and loyalty to their country. This is manifested by a growing appreciation of our desirable traditions and practices, and by cultivating and promoting our cultural heritage.

These objectives are realized by:

-promoting and fostering a Christian grade school community that shall give the child the proper environment for Christian living. This is done through a dynamic Religion program involving parents, administration, faculty and students, through the regular participation in the liturgical services in the campus and community.
-providing a campus atmosphere that shall give the child a wealth of intellectual, aesthetic, physical, moral and social experience aimed at developing his skills and knowledge to prepare him for the more complex activities of the high school. This is done through curricular and co-curricular activities with provisions for both the ordinary and the exceptional learners.
-fostering and cultivating healthy interpersonal relationships
-Among all the members of the school community by promoting an atmosphere of respect, mutual trust, confidence and support for one another.
