He had children, one son called Eldarion and several girls, but their names aren't to be found in the books. Aragorn pledged his sword in service of Frodo. He helped the little Hobbit many times. The first time they met was in Bree where Aragorn is know as Strider. There Strider helped Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin in escaping the Ringwraiths who where chasing them. They left and together they journeyed through the wilderness. Aragorn lead them to Rivendell, trying to get them there safely. That didn't work. When they where on Weathertop something happened, Frodo was stabbed by the sword of one of the Ringwraiths. An elf, Arwen Evenstar, brought Frodo to Rivendell.(in the movie, in the book it's Glorfindel) There Aragorn joined the Fellowship and together with eight companions he journeyed to Mordor. After Gandalf's 'death' he led the Fellowship on to Lothlorien and from there to Amon Henn. There, close to the river, where they attacked by Orcs and Uruk-hai. Aragorn thought that he had failed in leading the Fellowship when Boromir died. He promised the brave warrior to safe Gondor. The three hunters, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli, tried to free the two Hobbits, Merry and Pippin. They had been captured. After that chase and finding the Hobbits and Gandalf safe, they went on, through Rohan, to Gondor. There Aragorn fought in many battles and even journeyed on the paths of the Dead. Together with many friends he defeated the dark Lord and his helper Saruman. After The War of The Ring Aragorn married the beautiful Arwen Evenstar who gave up her immortality for him. He became king of Gondor and reunited the race of men. After his death his son Eldarion ruled in Gondor but never again was there a king like Aragorn. |
