Q (Who is Carlson Daly, just to let you know.): Alright animals shut the hell up will ya? Our guests have just arrived!
E: My God...
Q: Hi guys, nice to see you....(more cheering)
E: My, my...
Q: Happy Holidays Elijah, how are you?
E: Thank you! Very well, very well.
Q: I see you all the time now, the press for this movie, Lord of the Rings, its out the 19th, is it overwelming? It's got to be overwelming.
E: It is overwelming.
Q: Are you cik of talking about it? I mean we love to hear what you have to say about the movie but it must drive you nuts!
E: Kind of! I think I have synopsised the film a million times so...
L: We've had like two weeks of press so it's like all over the place...
E: But we love the film so in that way it's easy to talk about.
Q: Ok, well we're among friends, so let's break it down a little bit. People are treating this like the Star Wars trilogy. You shot all 3 movies at once right?
E: Yeah
Q: Did it feel like you were shooting 3 seperate movies or was it like one giant epic?
L: It was kind of like one giant movie because we shot totally out of sequence, so sometimes on one day we would shoot a scene of the first movie and also one from the third, it was kind of....
E: Out of control.
Q: How long did it take? Each movie os going to be released....??
E: Every year. It took 16 months. I lived in New-Zealand for 16 months so....It was as much as a journey making the film as it was, you know... In some way I think it mirrored that of the book which was amazing.
Q: Now I'm like the onlyidiot who HASN'T read the trilogy or The Hobbit, like I have no idea! I cheated on all the high school red cliff notes. (Laughter)
E: Have you seen the film?
Q: I have seen nothing!
E: Ok.
L: That's the good thing about the movie, you can go and see the movie not having read the books and just be very happy and get everything..
Q: Is there any way to give the audience a synopsis??
E: Like a taste of what's it about?
Q: ....yeah, of what's going on here.
E: Basicly it's about Middle-Earth, this fictional place, that is in peril because the One ring, Sauron's ring- the kind of evil dark lord- and he is trying to get the ring back. Basicly it's about Frodo, my character, who takes the ring to Mordor to destroy the ring and save Middle-Earth. (Laughs) I think that's it.
L: This most amazing small Hobbit creature, like the smallest of all creatures, is the only one that can really handle this.
Q: How was New-Zealand? Cos that's an awfully long time to spend there.
L: Beautiful, really beautiful..
E: Beautiful.
Q: Does the water, in the toilet, go down the other way?
E: It does, it does.
Q: That's the only question I wanted to ask them. I have the entire cast here and I care about stupid crap liek that. (laughter)
Q: Did you go nuts? Did you miss like the states, music or the Simpsons or anything?
E: Mexican foor, there was no Mexican food.
Q: Nothing? No burritos in New-Zealand?
E: They did but they were terrible, sorry.
Q: Did you eat roo? Did they have kangaroo?
E: No! That's Australia, a hop, skip and a jump away.
Q: I just wanted to ask the phrase, did you eat roo...(Laughter)
E: A lot of lamb though, lamb and beer.
Q: Alright, fair enough.....They whole cast is here and it's like all guys!!
L: Yeah, all guys.
Q: Was it like a boys club??
L: Yeah it was really cute, they're just so nice to me, I'm spoilt rotten!
Audience goes; 'awww' and Elijah puts his head in Liv's shoulder (showing how tiny he is)
