Here I am going to pay homage to those wonderful people that make this show possible.
First I Would like to tell you about Katie, hers is that wonderful voice you hear over the PA system. She also knows when to jump in and hit me when I start getting stressed out about the show. She have been with the show since day one when we where at a Folding Table placed in the arena under a canopy. To you Katie I say thanks for being my anchor and support.
Next is Amanda, she has been a great person to have as a judge. Not only is she an amazing sportsmen, but also great with horses. He helps keep all the riders in line and also keeps things fun and enjoyable. Also she dose the presentation of the flag for the national anthem.
Sara has come in to the picture just a few years ago but is very adapt at raking dirt. She is like a one person work crew. She has also picked up on event setup really quick and that makes things much nicer for all of us up in the announcers booth getting all the paperwork and awards ready.
Finally I have to give great thanks to my mother who volunteers every year to help with the O-Mok-See. Plus everyone really likes to have her there because that keeps most on there best behavior. You won't see a picture of her on here. If I did that I would not be around to run next years show.
Well if you really want here is a bit about me. I started the O-Mok-See with the help of Katie back in 1999. Since then we have been moving up. A lot of work and help and our show is starting to really come together. Big thanks to the Spokane Interstate Fair and Expo center for all the great work that has gone in to improving the horse arena.
Other notable people to talk about are Gail, Becky and Billie Jo. They are great people to work with and do a great job of working with the entire equine department. Please make sure to give then your thanks for all the heard work they put in to making sure that your time at the fair goes as smooth as possible.
